This is a new and curious user doing his way in this whole new universe of experiences. Of course, I would like to introduce myself in the best way.

My name is Edgardo Ruiz. Some just call me just Ed or Eddie, or in the case of my family, they call me "Edgardito", which means "little Edgardo".

I am a young man from Cumaná, which is a city located in Sucre state, Venezuela. Something I love from this place is that if you have a good eye, you can find a magical and beautiful spot in every corner and, of course, I enjoy saving those memories in pictures, as you can see in the photo below.

I am 25 years old, I am a Virgo, and I am an English student next to become an English teacher. I study at the Universidad de Oriente here in Cumaná. Soon I am going to start my internship in a real classroom environment, and I am very anxious, and exited about it.

Hobbies

To the hobby section, I will start with the more obvious. I enjoy taking photos of everything I find beautiful and interesting. My favorite ones are the sunset photos.

Cumaná is located in the northeast of Venezuela, and is a coastal zone too, so we can take amazing shots where the sea and the sun touch each other.

I also like watching tv series. In my free times I could spend hours watching a good one show while I am in bed. My favorite genres are drama, and mystery. I am a movie lover too. If is a good one, I will watch it until the end.

I enjoy reading poetry. I see the poetry as a deep experience once you found that you really like it. Some poets I love to read are José Ángel Buesa, Rubén Darío, and of course, my dear Edgar Allan Poe.

I am also a certified lifeguard of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Society. A few years ago, I set out to find a movement interested in helping people in distress, that is where I found my Red Cross family. We do volunteer work there. We give talks on first aid in communities that are difficult to access. We also support the security agencies in the area in different safety and accident prevention activities.

How did I get here?

I have listened about Hive in the past, and honestly, I am still curious about it. So, this time I have decided to be part of it, completely. I want to discover this Hive world, and let them discover me. I know I have many interesting things to share with this community, and I hope I find nice people interested in it as well. :-)

¡Hola, mundo de Hive!

Este es un nuevo y curioso usuario, haciendo su gran entrada en este gran universo de experiencias. Por supuesto, me gustaría presentarme de la mejor forma.

Mi nombre es Edgardo Ruiz. Algunos me llaman Ed o Eddie, o en el caso de mi familia, "Edgardito".

Soy un joven de Cumaná, ciudad capital del estado Sucre, en Venezuela. Algo que me encanta de este lugar es que si tienes un buen ojo, puedes conseguir un sitio mágico y hermoso en cada rincón y, por supuesto, yo disfruto guardar esos recuerdos en fotos, como puedes ver en la foto de abajo.

Más sobre mí

Tengo 25 años, soy signo Virgo, y soy estudiante de inglés próximo a ejercer mi rol como docente de inglés. Estudio en la Universidad de Oriente, ubicada aquí en Cumaná. Pronto voy a iniciar mis prácticas docentes en un entorno escolar real, y por ello estoy muy ansioso y emocionado.

Pasatiempos

Para ma sección de pasatiempos, empezaré con el más obvio. Disfruto tomando fotos de todo lo que encuentro bonito e interesantes. Mis favoritas son las fotos de los atardeceres.

Cumaná está localizada al noreste de Venezuela, y también es una zona costera, así que es normal poder hacer tomas donde el mar y el son se unen en armonía.

También me gusta mirar serie de televisión. En mis tiempos libres puedo pasar horas mirando algún buen programa mientras estoy en cama. Mis géneros favoritos son el drama y el misterio. También me considero un amante de las películas. Si es una buena, la miraré hasta el final.

Además, disfruto leer poesía. Considero a la poesía como una experiencia profunda, una vez que encuentra que realmente te gusta. Algunos poetas que me gustan son José Ángel Buesa, Rubén Darío y, por supuesto, mi querido Edgar Allan Poe.

También soy un socorrista certificado de la Sociedad Internacional de la Cruz Roja y Media Luna Roja. Hace unos años, me propuse buscar un movimiento interesado en ayudar a la gente en situaciones de angustia. Ahí fue cuando encontré a mi familia de la Cruz Roja. Allí hacemos trabajo de voluntariado. Damos charlas sobre primeros auxilios en comunidades de difícil acceso. También apoyamos a los organismos de seguridad de la zona, en diferentes actividades de seguridad y prevención de accidentes.

¿Cómo llegué aquí?

Había escuchado sobre Hive en el pasado y, honestamente, aún sigo curioso al respecto. Así que, esta vez he decidido formar parte de Hive por completo. Quiero descubrir este mundo, y permitirle a su vez que me descubran a mí. Sé que tengo muchas cosas interesantes para compartir con esta comunidad, al igual que espero conseguir gente agradable interesada en ellas.
