Los que me conocen saben que soy muy fan de Hive y que puedo platicar todo el día de esta maravillosa Blockchain. Últimamente me he unido a grupos de Blockchain de mi país y he estado debatiendo con algunas personas sobre temas de Blockchain y criptomonedas. Aunque ustedes no lo crean hay algunas personas que no creen en nuestros proyectos, estoy siendo sarcástico, claro que hay muchas personas así, el mundo está lleno de diferentes opiniones y perspectivas, eso no tiene nada de malo, al contrario.

If you know me you know that I am a huge fan of Hive and if I could I would speak about Hive all day long. Lately I have been participating in a couple of Blockchain groups in my country. I have started some debates with some people about Blockchains and Cryptos. Believe it or not there still are guys that do not believe in our project, of course I am being sarcastic, many people think like that, the world is full of different kinds of opinions and perspectives, and there is nothing wrong about that.

Después de los acalorados debates un amigo llamado @shadowmyst, quien me presentó el proyecto de @creary, me invitó a una videollamada en ZOOM. Ahí estaban algunos de las personalidades de cripto y blockchain en México. Estuve escuchando a todos y cada quién daba su punto de vista sobre los temas y hablaba de los proyectos, pude aprender mucho de ellos. Yo me presenté y hablé de cómo entré a este mundo y cómo me ha ido en HIVE y en los demás proyectos. Vi que muchos tenían cara de escépticos, pero yo hablé de lo que me ha funcionado y de cómo me ha ayudado.

After these strong debates a friend called @shadowmyst (he invited me to @creary) invited me to a video call in ZOOM where a lot of the crypto personalities of Mexico were gathering. I listened to their stories and the projects that they are involved with, I learned a lot from them. I introduced myself and told them how I learned about crypto and how things have been going in HIVE and the other projects I'm involved with. I saw their faces and most of them looked exceptic, but I talked with confidence of how it has worked for me.

Al final de la reunión algunos nos quedamos a platicar y hablamos sobre diferentes temas. Una de las personas que se quedó a cargo de la reunión me reconoció y dijo "¿ah tú eres el chico de Hive?" y yo "sí". Después yo lo reconocí porque había visto algunos de sus comentarios y comenzamos a platicar. Los que quedamos volvimos a presentarnos, a hablar un poco más de nosotros y cuando fue mi turno me presenté así:

"Hola! Yo soy el Chico HIVE!"

At the end of the meeting some people stayed to chat and we talked about different topics. One of the guys that was hosting the meeting recognized me and told me "oh you are the HIVE" and I was "yes". After some time I also recognized him because I remembered that I read some of the comments and posts in the group. We started chatting a and as we were only like six people left in the chat and only three were talking we reintroduced ourselves and started talking about us, when I introduced myself I was like:

Hi! I'm the HIVE Guy!

Todos empezamos a reír y desde ese momento nació este personaje. Gris tenía pre hecho una ilustración y la adaptamos para que El Chico HIVE tuviera una identidad y pudiera combatir a los necios que no creen en este proyecto (broma).

We all began laughing and from that moment I knew that a new character was born. Gris had a pre-made drawing that we adapted so the The HIVE Guy could have his own identity and also could fight the sceptics of this project (joke).

De ahora en adelante usaré a este personaje para compartir este maravilloso proyecto y lo haré de una forma cómica y amigable. Espero poder ayudar a muchas personas. El Chico Hive ya tiene página en Facebook y poco a poco en todas mis redes sociales iré agregando ese branding, compartiendo contenido como este personaje.

From today I shall be known as this character and I will do my best to share this project in a friendly and comic way. I hope I can help a lot of people. The HIVE Guy already has a Facebook page and soon I will start rebranding all my social media accounts and share content as this character.

Además del nacimiento del Chico HIVE también quería platicarles algunos avances que hemos tenido en la página de Facebook de HIVE. Hace casi un mes me di cuenta que no existía una página de Facebook de Hive así que decidí crear una. Esto entiende ya que hay muchas personas de países como EEUU o de Europa que ya no le dan importancia a esta red, pero al mismo tiempo hay muchas personas que aún la usan, sobre todo personas de países con economías emergentes. Bueno, les muestro los avances:

Besides the birth of the HIVE Guy I also wanted to share with you some of the updates that we have had on the Hive Facebook page. Almost a month I noticed that there was no Facebook page for Hive so I decided to create one. I understand this because a lot of people from the USA or Europe no longer find Facebook interesting but at the same time a lot of people still use it, especially people from emerging economies.
