It has been a heartache for me since some unforeseen situation stopped me from being active in hive. I have been away for more than a month but my heart has always been with the hive family. So welcome me back.

It all started in December after my phone fell out of my pocket while trying to check the cause of an oil leakage under my truck. After the phone fell, the screen was broken and it started developing all sorts of tech issues, at a point, it stop switching on no matter how many times I charge it.
Fast forward to January 2023. The year started so well for me and it pains me I was unable to write anything about it. On January 7th, I went on a get-together with some old friends. It was fun and all but I couldn't take personal pictures because I don't have a phone, I had to depend on the pictures that were taken by them.
There were a lot of beautiful views I would have captured if I had a phone but I will always have another opportunity since I have life.
Later in January, I was called to serve my country. This program is known as the Nigeria Youth Service Corp.
This program was designed to relocate all the students that just finish their higher institution to visit another part of the country and work there for one year. It is believed that it will help build more unity among the citizen since different youth will find themselves in a strange land and far from home. It will give them the privileges to learn about another culture.
SOKOTO
I was called to serve in the learn of Sokoto after a 3weeks orientation camp. My home location is at the least side of the west while Sokoto is at the far ending side of the North. Traveling to sokoto by road was a really big deal for me because it was a 2days journey. Our bus never stopped once and we still spent 2days on the road. I wish I had gone through the flight but I don't have the resource for that.
This was my first day at the camp. I met up with a friend of mine who already told me he will be at that state to camp also. It was nice having a friend I know well in a strange land.
I took this picture during one of the SAED lecture days. The class is always boring but with good objectives. The objective is to empower corp members with the knowledge to start up a business on their own even if they don't have the capital. A lot of motivation was also included in the lecture.
Later on, I decided to take some cool pictures of myself. I look cool, right?
I love the drums so I had to join the camp band. It has been a great experience all the way.
I'm not done with my training but I can't wait to finish it so I can go home to my family. I did enjoy all the activities here on camp but no place can be like home. Here is another picture of myself in another uniform
You might be wondering how come I'm back to hive without any gadgets. Well, mommy had to give me her Android phone so I will try my best to make the best use of it.
Thanks for having me. It's good to be back.
