Library life continues to be a jumble of juggling COVID-19 concerns and patron needs. Word came down from on high that all returns needed to be quarantined for 72 hours across the district again, but we haven't closed our doors again yet.
I continue to work on grab-and-go craft kits. Coming soon, I will have mosaic coaster projects and a seashell tea light candleholder.
For the coaster, I sealed a 4" x 4" (10cm x 10cm) plywood tile with PVA glue. Then I placed the glass tesserae in a grid with the colors chosen randomly. A dot of glue held them in place until I could apply grout. If you want to duplicate this craft, you should put more effort than I did into careful tile placement from the start.
For the candleholder, I set aside a large enough scallop shell for the candle and then piled up shells on a second 4x4 wood tile until I was happy with the placement and the highest points held the scallop roughly level. Then I took it all apart and used super glue to fix the shells in place during reassembly. I may add sand or paint waves around the edge, but I am not sure about that yet.

Thursday evening saw another Warhammer 40,000 battle. I took 49 Power Level in Necrons against 50 PL of Blood Angel Space Marines. I lost with 50 victory points to my opponent's 52, but I think I acquitted myself well overall. I should have tried harder to put him in a position of having to react to my movement and aggressive objective control, and I shouldn't have wasted so much effort trying to eat through Land Raider armor with my Canoptek Wraiths. Still, I am pleased considering his greater wargaming experience.
I know, the lack of paint probably made me suffer somehow. But I only assembled them the night before, and there hadn't even been time for primer. I like this unit of sneaky spectral robot clawed snake things though. I should get three more soon.
One major event in my favor was his catastrophic failure in rolling an overcharged plasma gun attack from his warlord. He rolled a 1, which means instant death. No problem, though, right? His warlord could re-roll any hit rolls of 1.
He rolled another 1
A 1:36 chance almost handed me the game, because the death of his warlord gave me victory points.

I also have a couple new board games I should review soon. I'll just say for now that my opinion is quite favorable. Keep an eye out for my posts in coming days!
