Assalamualaikum friends
How are you all?
I'm fine Alhamdulillah!
Friends, about a few days ago I went to visit the office of a "Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation" in the afternoon. Since this office is near my house. So I was a little surprised to go there. Because it is a government office. But the office is a victim of a lot of carelessness and neglect.
The dilapidated condition of the office buildings is similar to the condition of the quarters or houses built for the office bearers. The subject hurt me a lot. I will share some pictures with you here.
But agriculture is one of the various economic activities in the world. The importance of agriculture in meeting these basic needs of the people like food, clothing, shelter, education, medical is immense. Of these, our food needs are completely dependent on agriculture. The main material for making textiles also comes from agriculture. Such as jute, cotton, silk etc. The main materials for building houses such as bamboo, cane, wood, straw etc. also come from agriculture. Educational materials - Paper, pencils etc. are used for agriculturally produced bamboo, sugarcane husks etc. The raw materials for making hemopathic, Unani and Ayurvedic medicines required in the field of medicine are also almost all agricultural. In addition, the role of agricultural production in making furniture or meeting the demand for fuel is immense.
So how can this office, which is so necessary, be so neglected ???
Where for a moment we cannot think of surviving without food. Every government in the world should pay more attention to the food related offices - courts, factories, increase in land fertility, irrigation projects etc.
We all know that the first element of human survival is food grains, which come from agriculture. Many countries in the world are not self-sufficient in food grain production. As a result, they have to import food grains from abroad. And thus importing and exporting from abroad, it is possible to earn foreign currency only through this agriculture. Again, many countries export surplus food grains abroad. As a result, the only source of food for the people of the world is agriculture.
A large portion of the total population is engaged in agriculture, mainly in underdeveloped and developing countries.
In particular, agriculture is one of the main sources of employment for most of the poor in different countries.
For one thing, if we take good care of ourselves, many of us can make a lot of money. Millionaires can become millionaires. But if there is no field to spend this money. So is this money worth anything ??
And can this so much money satisfy our hunger? If people from all walks of life are not aware of the expansion of agriculture. So let us all be vigilant in expanding agriculture to a greater extent. And at the same time, I look at the people who work in agriculture and put food in our mouths with due dignity and respect.
