Just because a phone has a cracked screen, is too slow, has a weak battery, or just looks ghetto, doesn't mean it's useless. It can still work as an online CCTV. You'll just need an internet connection, power source, and a security camera app like Alfred.
It doesn't matter what kind of phone you use, but I've found using the back camera is usually best. You can conceal the phone better and use the superior camera, but lose access to the screen if you tape it up like this. If you use good tape it can be restuck many times.
You can make it clear what you're doing or you can sneakily hide the spy device behind pictures or other decorations.

The best PSYOP of all time was of course the Trojan Horse, but I really like what we Americans did to the Germans in WWII. Knowing machine gunners would kill our paratroopers we sent out thousands of dummies with parachutes first. The Germans used up all their ammo shooting at dummies in the dark and then the 101st Airborne Division was able to jump down and defeat them.
Maybe you have a phone that is complete garbage or won't even turn on. Who cares? The criminals don't know that. Many of the phones I used in the post are from 2015, lack the guts, or are from the trash and haven't been turned on for years. I just made it look like they are plugged in and doing something. Maybe all the phones are junk and none of them are doing anything, or maybe ALL of the phones work and I just said they were broken as a PSYOP.
I've used Alfred free for years without any problems. I've never paid them money or signed up for anything. I did a search on https://AlternativeTo.net to see what other apps compare. Since I've never had a problem with Alfred, I've never tried any other CCTV apps, but I'm sure they work the same. Which would you suggest?
