Ambos juegos se podían jugar en Facebook, Newgrounds, Armorgames y Kongregate eran MMORPG aunque no parecen y con un sistema de jugabilidad simple pero repetitivo, de lo que si me enamore de este juego fue de su arte y sus historias vamos a hablar al respecto ahora, comenzando sus respectivos BIOs (ambos provenientes de sus respectivas paginas de Face-book):

Hello hello everyone, today I'll tell you about the ones that ... were my favorite flash games, I considered them both my number one since they were from the same company and were identical I must have played each one for at least 5 years,sadly both succumbed to lack of revenue for the company, so let's talk about Legacy of a Thousand Suns (Lots) and Dawn of the Dragons (DotD).
Both games could be played on Facebook, Newgrounds, Armorgames and Kongregate they were MMORPG although they do not seem like it and with a simple but repetitive gameplay system, what I fell in love with this game was its art and its stories we are going to talk about it now, starting with their respective BIOs (both from their respective pages of Face - book ):

Jugabilidad - Gameplay
Hablemos de esos recursos, para realizar aventuras tenemos la Energía, Para atacar Jefes tenemos la "stamina"(aunque había Jefes que usaban los otros recursos) y por ultimo el Honor el recurso que se usaba en los Gremios para atacar Jefes unicos de Gremios o entrar en unas Campañas donde todo el Gremio aportaba.
Cada recurso tenia su tiempo de recuperación (recuperabas 1 Energía cada 2 minutos los primeros niveles por ejemplo) hasta que llegabas al nivel 1000 y todos los recursos tenían el mismo tiempo.
The game only used the mouse to operate, and consists of defeating Raids with many people, doing Quest on your own and providing help in your Guild. Yes, having a Guild was almost mandatory in the game since one of the resources is specifically for that.Let's talk about those resources, to carry out a Quest we have the Energy, To attack Raids we have the Stamina (although there were Raids that used the other resources) and finally Honor the resource that was used in the Guilds to attack unique Guild Raids or enter some Campaigns where the entire Guild contributed.
Each resource had its own recovery time (you recovered 1 Energy every 2 minutes the first levels for example) until you reached level 1000 and all the resources had the same time.
Ahora hablemos de cada parte del juego brevemente:
Todo el juego tenia la modalidad de niveles (fácil, normal, legendario y pesadilla) mientras mas nivel sea (La Misión, Jefe o Campaña) mas Recursos tenias que gastar en ellas, entonces las Misiones consistían en darle la historia a tu personaje y sus compañeros conseguías equipamiento si tenias suerte (el RNG del juego era muy despiadado a veces) y conseguías objetos que canjeabas en puntos para tus atributos, los Jefes eran enemigos "revividos" de la historia o de otro lugar y eran tu principal ingreso de armamento y puntos de atributos, luego estaba las campañas que consistían en Jefes interconectadas en un mapa (como un calabozo de WoW) donde no podías avanzar hasta acabar con ese Jefe.
También estaban las PvP donde tu con tu honor podías enfrentar tu personaje contra otros ya sea solo o en equipo de 4, luego la ciudadela solo servia para crear objetos luego de un tiempo y por ultimo el sistema de forjar objetos que tenia mucho donde agarrar.
Now let's talk about each part of the game briefly:The whole game had levels (easy, normal, legendary and nightmare) the higher the level it is (The Quest, Raid or Campaign) the more Resources you had to spend on them, so the Quest consisted of giving the story to your character and their companions you would get gear if you were lucky (the game's RNG was very ruthless at times) and you would get items that you craft for points for your attributes, Raids were "revived" enemies from history or elsewhere and were your main source of weaponry and Attribute points, then there were campaigns consisting of Raids interconnected on a map (like a WoW dungeon) where you couldn't advance to finish off that Raids.
There were also the PvP where you with your honor could face your character against others either alone or in a team of 4, then the citadel only served to create objects after a while and finally the system of crafting objects that had a lot to grab.
Entonces ¿cual es el bucle del juego? Entras en tu pagina, Haces las Misiones que tengas disponibles (o usabas tu energía en Jefes que era lo mejor), buscabas nuevos Jefes en el Chat global publicadas por personas que pedían ayuda, con lo que daban ellas canjeabas cosas y aumentabas tus atributos, y usabas tu honor en todo lo que los lideres de tu Gremio hallan creado.
Now most important of all, your legion DotD / Your fleet LoTS here you put troops and commanders to increase your power, this system was very open (especially because to find the more powerful troops you had to die farming or buying them with real money) but ALL the troops, commanders even ships in the case of LoTS had history that was what I loved most about this.So what's the game loop? You enter your page, You do the Quest that you have available (or you used your energy in Raids that was the best), you look for new Raids in the Global Chat published by people who ask for help ,with what they gave you you crafted things and increased your attributes, and then used your honor in everything that the leaders of your Guild have created.
Si es un bucle repetitivo, pero lo que no lo hacia tan tedioso era la interacción humana, recuerdo discusiones en el Chat muy chistosas y hasta mas de una vez entre en trolear a un chico nuevo.
Claro el juego también tenia sus eventos únicos, los "World Raids" donde todas las personas del servidor atacaban a un enemigo con vida infinita y si tu daño llegaba a cierto numero te daban recompensas, también estos "World Raids" venían con sus "Event Raids" que eran versiones mas pequeñas de estos Jefes, todo "World Raid" traía historia, usualmente las podías leer en los equipo de armadura.
Y como en todo MMORPG el juego tenia su moneda premiun con eso comprabas armadura super poderosa o miembros de tu equipo también super fuertes, pero ya que el juego tenia una forma de que hasta alguien sin dinero podía obtener esta moneda para mi era muy justo (excepto en PvP nunca pude llegar a un rango alto ahí) esto hace que el juego fue muy "Pay to Win" pero como eso solo afectaba el PvP no me pareció muy preocupante.

And as in all MMORPG the game had its premium currency, with that you bought super powerful armor or members of your team also super strong, but since the game had a way that even someone without money could get this coin for me it was very fair ( except in PvP I was never able to reach a high rank there) this makes the game very "Pay to Win" but since it only affected PvP I did not find it very worrying.
Diseño de Personajes y Mundo - Character and World Design
DoTD toma lugar en la era medieval, donde existen Dragones, Hechiceros, monstruos y furros digo hombres bestias, los enemigos principales son los hombres bestias (y varios humanos) comandados por Dragones, por la primera parte de la historia luego se descubren mas vampiros, sirenas, gigantes, seres sobrenaturales, etc.
Claro que DoTD es mi favorito en arte muchos dragones para tirar arriba, pero lo que mas me gusto en ambos, era el arte de transaccion en muchas Raids, cuando una Rad llegaba a cierto punto de vida el arte cambiaba le daba como algo de vida y progresion a los Raids (sin contar que algunas tenian animacion muy genial).
Ok here I must separate both games a bit, since one art is futuristic and the other medieval, Lots takes place in a science fiction universe with spaceships and aliens so the design of this game was very humanoid or robotic but if it has its Bosses worth remembering, the design of our character is moldable but the game does not give many options to create your character, sex, skin and hair color, but in the story and various Raids your character comes out in his asexual armor. not to spend on making art for two sexesDoTD takes place in the medieval era, where there are Dragons, Sorcerers, monsters and furries I mean beastmen, the main enemies are the beastmen (and various humans) commanded by Dragons, for the first part of the story then more vampires are discovered, mermaids, giants, supernatural beings, etc.
Of course, DoTD is my favorite in art, many dragons to spare, but what I liked the most in both, was the art of transaction in many Raids, when a Raid reached a certain HP, the art changed, it gave them something of life. and progression to the Raids (not to mention that some had very cool animation).
Historia - Story
Pero lo que mas me encantó fue el mind blown de que ambos juegos están en el mismo universo y que el protagonista de DoTD es antepasado del de LoTS es increíble si spoilee dos juegos que ya murieron buuu La historia de estos juegos para mi merece hacerse en una serie animada 100%, siempre pensé hacerlo (al menos el guion mi habilidad artística es menos que cero) porque siento que se lo merece.
Now I could make another post just telling the story of these games, it is the most phenomenal thing and this is where LoTS wins because their story is too perfect, and that's why I was very enraged when the game closed in the middle of a very interesting arc (the "end" they gave it was very bad) and to DoTD they never gave it an end they just closed without anything more about the story although after the arc of the Dragons there was not much progress.
But what I loved the most was the mind blown that both games are in the same universe and that the protagonist of DotD is the ancestor to the LoTS one is incredible yes I've spoiled two games that already died buuu The story of These games for me 100% deserve to be done in an animated series, I always thought to do it (at least the script my artistic ability is less than zero) because I feel that it deserves it.
Como dije cada pieza de equipamiento, cada tropa, comandante, nave y cada "World Raid" tenia historia encima de la historia normal, era algo super genial, la historia que mas me gusta fuera de la principal es cuando The Guild (serie de Geek and Sundry) fueron puestos en DoTD como tropas premium y les dieron a cada miembro su World Raid y historia en especial, fue genial.
Podría hacer unos post completos relatando la historia principal de ambos juegos si quieren que lo haga, comentenme abajo.
As I said each piece of equipment, each troop, commander, ship and each "World Raid" had a story above the normal story, it was something super cool, the story that I like the most outside of the main one is when The Guild (series of Geek and Sundry) were put into DoTD as premium troops and they gave each member their World Raid and story especially, it was great.I could make a complete post telling the main story of both games if you want me to, comment below.
Palabras finales - Final Toughts
Ambos juegos cayeron porque a la compañía (5th Planet Games) no les daban ingresos, y intentaron sacar una "secuela" de DotD en Steam pero si ven las reseñas no fue un juego nada bueno ni se parecía a su predecesor esto creo impulso mas su cierre, ambos juegos eran preciados para mi pero si sabíamos que estaban acabándose.
Nada se pudo hacer por LoTS, pero luego del cierre de DoTD se hizo un discord para poder revivir el juego, lo mas que se pueda sin problemas legales y eso, pero no hay muchos avances, todavía los fans están ahí esperando algo mas igual que yo.
Pero esta fue mi forma de recordar esos tiempos y de contarles y mostrarles un poco de estos juegos que no eran los mas divertidos en su jugabilidad por su bucle de hacer cosas pero la comunidad era lo mejor.
Al final de todo la compañía fue comprada por Hugo Games A/S tienen algunos juegos en camino pero nada interesante pueden conseguir mas info en su pagina oficial, Adios a todos.
These games were my adolescence, I met many people in my Guilds as two of them were abandoned by their leader and they passed us to another, like a friend had in one but we lost contact, all the anecdotes I lived with people, the frustration of the New poorly planned events, make fun of how the most powerful person could make 1 Quintillion damage with their pinky.Both games went down because the company (5th Planet Games) was not getting revenue, and they tried to get a "sequel" to DotD at Steam but if you see the reviews it was not a good game nor did it resemble its predecessor, this created momentum for its closure, both games were precious to me but we did know that they were ending.
Nothing could be done for LoTS, but after the closure of DoTD a discord was created to remake the game, as much as possible without legal issues and that, but there are not many advances, the fans are still there waiting for something more like me.
But this was my way of remembering those times and of telling and showing you a little about these games that were not the most fun in their gameplay due to their loop of doing things but the community was the best.At the end of everything the company was bought by Hugo Games A / S they have some games on the way but nothing interesting can get more info on their official page , Goodbye everybody.
