La propiedad intelectual, el tesoro de la época.

El mundo en el que vivimos es un lugar donde diariamente ocurren millones de eventos que afectan nuestras vidas, pero contrariamente a lo que ocurría en otros siglos, ahora durante el siglo XXI estamos interconectados y al tanto de lo que ocurre en cada parte del mundo, esto se debe en gran medida a el afianzamiento que han tenido los desarrollos tecnológicos durante esta época.
Esa tecnología de la que hablo ha dado paso a que cuestiones que antes eran poco relevantes, hoy en día sean de gran importancia en las distintas vertientes de nuestra sociedad.
Me refiero específicamente a la propiedad intelectual; los avances tecnológicos de nuestros días han dado lugar al potenciamiento de las habilidades creativas en las personas, generando una onda expansiva de creación de bienes tangibles e intangibles y con ello, un interés razonable en cuanto a propiedad intelectual se refiere.
Diariamente nos topamos con nuevos casos de conflictos judiciales que se originan a raíz del incumplimiento de las leyes y normativas para la propiedad intelectual, eso nos habla de la relevancia que ha tomado este concepto en nuestras vidas, pero ¿acaso sabemos de qué trata este asunto?, ¿conocemos el concepto de propiedad intelectual y en que ámbitos se aplica?
The world in which we live is a place where millions of events that affect our lives occur daily, but contrary to what happened in other centuries, now during the XXI century we are interconnected and aware of what is happening in every part of the world, this is largely due to the strengthening that technological developments have had during this time.
The technology I am talking about has given way to issues that were previously of little relevance, today are of great importance in the different aspects of our society.
I am referring specifically to intellectual property; the technological advances of our days have given rise to the enhancement of creative skills in people, generating a shock wave of creation of tangible and intangible goods and with it, a reasonable interest in terms of intellectual property.
Every day we come across new cases of legal disputes arising from the breach of laws and regulations for intellectual property, that tells us about the relevance that this concept has taken in our lives, but do we know what this issue is about, do we know the concept of intellectual property and in what areas it is applied?

Haciendo una búsqueda en internet me encontré con este concepto, el cual me pareció muy didáctico:
“El término propiedad intelectual, o copyright, como es conocido en terminología anglosajona, hace referencia al bien económico y cultural que emana de cualquier creación de la mente humana y, tradicionalmente, se compone de dos vertientes: los derechos de autor, como las obras literarias y las obras artísticas; y la propiedad industrial (patentes, marcas y diseños).”
Teniendo en cuenta lo anterior nos damos cuenta que la propiedad intelectual tiene aplicaciones en muchas de las actividades a las que hoy muchos nos dedicamos, por ejemplo; la inteligencia artificial, que hace uso de estudios, investigaciones y ensayos, todos protegidos por la propiedad intelectual ya que con estos se genera un bien (tangible o intangible) propenso a ser comercializado, además así se garantiza correctamente la protección a la autoría y el esfuerzo que hay tras ella.
Doing an internet search I came across this concept, which I found very didactic:
"The term intellectual property, or copyright, as it is known in Anglo-Saxon terminology, refers to the economic and cultural good that emanates from any creation of the human mind and, traditionally, it is composed of two aspects: copyright, such as literary works and artistic works; and industrial property (patents, trademarks and designs)."
Taking into account the above we realize that intellectual property has applications in many of the activities to which today many of us are dedicated, for example; artificial intelligence, which makes use of studies, research and trials, all protected by intellectual property since with these a good (tangible or intangible) prone to be marketed is generated, also this way the protection to the authorship and the effort behind it is properly guaranteed.

Nuestra plataforma es una red social descentralizada para creadores de contenido, con esto es más que evidente la relevancia de la propiedad intelectual en Hive. Al ser una plataforma donde sus usuarios crean y comparten contenido, es de vital importancia que dentro de la misma se garantice el reconocimiento transparente de los derechos que generan crear contenido para dicha plataforma.

Nuestra plataforma garantiza y promueve la transparencia en cuanto a la creación de contenido, y al mismo tiempo, es el contenido de sus usuarios y la buena valoración que estos tienen de la plataforma lo que motiva el auge y constante ascenso de las tecnologías que respaldan a Hive (blockchain).

Since its inception, Hive has always insisted in different ways for users to make proper use of the content they manage, so much so that plagiarism is not tolerated, and is very insistent on giving credit to the author or authors of a content that is not their own, always citing the source from which the content was obtained.
Hive is the perfect example of how new technologies and intellectual property fit together and enhance each other. El tesoro de la época. | The treasure of the age.
Ahora que conocemos el concepto y la implicación que tiene la propiedad intelectual en nuestros ámbitos, nos damos cuenta del por qué esta es el nuevo tesoro de la época.
Un ejemplo bien interesante serían todos los desarrollos que se han logrado gracias a las tecnologías respaldadas por blokchain; dejando de lado por un momento las criptomonedas, se puede mencionar a la implantación de tecnología blockchain que están haciendo muchos bancos y sistemas financieros del mundo para mejorar la seguridad dentro de sus sistemas, estos avances son posibles gracias a los esfuerzos y visiones de Stuart Haber y W. Scott Stornetta sin los cuales posiblemente las cosas serían distintas, ya que después vendría Satoshi Nakamoto.
Proteger aquello que tanto nos ha costado crear se ha vuelto una prioridad, imagínense que un día se les ocurre la idea de escribir una canción, lo hacen y la publican en su blog de Hive, pasa un tiempo y un día una productora musical quiere grabar esa canción, no podrán hacerlo a menos que tengan su autorización, de lo contrario se exponen a una demanda judicial por su parte y una posible indemnización, cosa que no sería posible sin el tesoro de la propiedad intelectual.
Now that we know the concept and the implication that intellectual property has in our fields, we realize why this is the new treasure of the age.
A very interesting example would be all the developments that have been achieved thanks to the technologies supported by blokchain; leaving aside for a moment cryptocurrencies, we can mention the implementation of blockchain technology that many banks and financial systems around the world are doing to improve security within their systems, these advances are possible thanks to the efforts and visions of Stuart Haber and W. Scott Stornetta without whom things would possibly be different, as later came Satoshi Nakamoto.
Protecting what we have worked so hard to create has become a priority, imagine that one day you come up with the idea of writing a song, you do it and publish it on your Hive blog, some time passes and one day a music producer wants to record that song, they will not be able to do it unless they have your authorization, otherwise they are exposed to a lawsuit on their part and a possible compensation, which would not be possible without the treasure of intellectual property.
