Cryptocurrencies are an exciting development, a virtual currency that is very much real and has loads of liquidity. The first of it's kind was Bitcoin (BTC), which was not well accepted at the time, now it's worth over $40k and there are lots more like it. Now everyone wants to get involved in this exciting adventure, and so do I.
My favorite crypto is the BitTorrent Token, aka BTT. It's a cryptocurrency developed by the BitTorrent Inc, which is a popular file sharing platform that allows you transfer large files with relative ease and cheapness, large companies like Google and Netflix makes use of this, and it's presently under the Tron ecosystem, Trc-10 as they were purchased by Tron Blockchain network. The acquisition of BTT by the Tron network turned out to be a gem as they made lots of gains from it and now BTT is one of the top tokens on the tron ecosystem and currently in the top 50 rankings according to Coingecko.
I got to know about this coin little over 5 months ago when me and my friends were trying to analyze small cost tokes with great potentials. I think it'll be a crypto for the future. It currently has a market cap of over $2billion and attained an all time high of $0.01426, earlier this year in April. It's current price is about $0.0044, which is approximately, #1.98(naira) when converted to my native currency. At the time, i bought a little of about 1000btt when it was #1.7, $0.003.
I know of some other good coins out there but this one only, appeased me. I'm quite optimistic about this crypto, especially the fact that they are in business with other great companies like Google and Facebook. This makes them more reputable in my opinion.

There are so many platforms where you can buy this crypto which includes Binance, Trust wallet, KuCoin, OKEx, Bittrex, and Huobi, to name a few. I used binance to get this for myself. You can also use the crypto as payment to get faster download service from the company, BitTorrent Inc. and you can stake the coins to earn rewards for hodling the coin.
Conclusion
BitTorrent is a promising token with the best years yet to come. It's growth this year alone was a testament to that and with the ongoing developments, we are sure to see some interesting outcome for this coin.
