A'M SO EXCITED TO BE HERE
Hello everyone! My name is ABIODUN KEHINDE DAMILOLA but you can call me KENNY MIRACLE which is also my username on Hive. A native of Ibara Orile Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. I have a dark complexion and I am 5.5 feet tall..
Furthermore, I am a twin, which means I was born together with my twin brother. He is happily married and has four children. We are the youngest in the family and the most stubborn ones.
Little funny story About My Funny Childhood Experience... Please Don't Laugh At Me.,😁😆
During my primary school days, my twin brother and I were very stubborn. If you happened to have a fight with me, my twin brother would retaliate immediately, without even knowing the cause of the fight.
One day, my mom promised to deal with both of us seriously, without looking back. Two weeks later, my mom quietly came to our school to report us to our mathematics teacher, Mr. Omolade. Let me tell you, this man could beat a "Lion"! Aah!
The next day, during our math class, he dragged us to the front of the class, called four strong boys to hold our hands and legs, and gave us a severe beating.
The pain was so intense that I couldn't sit down, let alone eat when I got home, not even my favorite ofada rice.I had to be taken to the hospital for serious treatment because the pain was too much.
My mom was so happy because, for the first time in a long while, I stayed at home and helped her with cooking.
I couldn't go to school for almost four days, and this made my twin brother cooperate with my mom too, all because of the fear of "Mr. Lion" in our school.
Now, on the day I returned to school, my mom packed a special meal of rice with plenty of meat and fried plantain.
She instructed me to go directly to the same teacher who had given me a beating (Mr. Omolade) and say to him, "Thank you and God bless you so much, and please keep up the good work going."
Initially, I wanted to drop the rice, but then I thought to myself, "Aah!! Mr. Lion...😳😳" Ahh!! 😳😳
My Prospective
Honestly, sometimes firm discipline can be beneficial, but it should be done with love, purpose, care, and a proper understanding of the child in question. I will leave the rest of the story for another day.
However, thanks to African tradition, which allowed such discipline, I am happy today that the rice and beans my mom always packed in my bag to give to my teacher for monitoring and discipline in primary school, since our dad passed away, did not go in vain. It's amazing that this can only happen in 80s, as child maltreatment is not tolerated in 21st century.
Those experiences truly helped me understand the consequences of my actions before taking them and taught me to think about the end result.
Back to my introduction
I studied Business Administration at Lagos State Polytechnic and finished in 2008 before proceeding to my NYSC. I love having fun and meeting new friends as it helps me grow.
The Tears of Missing My Dad
Imagine being born into this world without ever seeing your dad. I was told that my dad passed away six months before we were born in 1981. Our story took a turn, and we moved from living in a large apartment to a village with no school and very few people who could speak good English.
My Mum is a Hero and Superwoman
I call my mum a hero and superwoman because sometimes I wonder how she did it—nurturing four boys and three girls—selling local rice and beans while ensuring that we all made it through higher education with no help from family or neighbors. What a life
Fatherhood
My greatest decision and aspiration in life is to care for the wife and children God has given me without bias or focusing on their imperfections. I love my wife and children so much. She is my best friend and helps meet.
