Introduction
Hi there! I'm Kimberlii from southern China. This is my first post on Hive, I am 37 years old, I love dogs, kids, bike riding, frisbee, hiking, traveling, reading, volunteering work, historical buildings, nature beauty and animated movies etc.
I'm a Guangzhou history lover and have explored a great number of places in Guangzhou City for a few years (If you visit Guangzhou one day, I can recommend many nice places to you, historic, modern, natural..as you like) . Besides, I am also an English learning lover and currently my English level is intermediate, but I wanna be better and reach higher level of it. I'm also interested in Spanish, just a very beginner at present though.
Hobbies
I like reading so much. I prefer biografies, evenf if I have been reading some novels recently.
Some months ago, I have found out that reading on an ebook reader (like Kindle, Kobo etc.) is a vey pleasure; I thought that no e.book could be like the classic paper book. with its smell and that marvellous sensation to touch materally the pages you read. Instead, I had to change my mind. E-books are very smart and practical. And they help if you want to learn a foreign language because they give you several instruments (such as integrated dictionary or the correct pronunciation of the words).
I'm reading a psichological thriller at the moment called "Escape room", written by an American author.
Every morning I do the same physical exercise. I do it for a long time and I spend around for 30 minutes on it every day
Job description
I work as employee in a Public Administration that deals with primary school education. My position is "Chief of the administrative affaires" and my function is to assure that everything gets organized and goes in the best way. My role is to coordinate other employees who works in the different offices the administration consists of. It's an hard job beacuse I have to face with several issues, sometimes involving personal problems between colleagues who work together and who sometimes don't agree on something or don't get along each other.
I have also in my charge the responsability of the Administration Budget, that means that I have to manage the Administration accounting and other related financial issues.
Anyway, I really like my job very much; I have studied a lot to achieve this role. I like it beacuse it's very various and it isn't boring at all.
My colleagues are very sociable and available and it's a very pleasure to work with them.
Personal thoughts
I think everyone is born with a defined personality. Life experiences "shape" a person's character, its behaviours and ideas but your true essence remains - according to me - that one you are born with.
A famous saying: "If you are born square, you can't die round" and I think this proverb well resumes the sense of my thoughts.
