I really confess that one of my passions is cooking, I really love preparing dishes for my family and friends, I really like to serve them and I feel great satisfaction doing it, these days browsing the HIVE communities, I was able to observe a contest of the @indiaunited community, making a call for a cooking contest on Friday, I immediately cheered up and looked at the topic "healthy breakfast" and I thought ... great !!! Nothing better than having a healthy breakfast to start the day on the right foot.
Today I will make a breakfast, consisting of pancakes with pumpkin and spices (cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger), accompanied with fresh fruit, in this case papaya and a delicious carrot juice with oranges ...
This breakfast is very tasty and healthy, as it is made from orange and yellow vegetables and fruits, which are rich in phytochemicals called carotenoids, specifically beta-carotenoids, which are responsible for providing the body with vitamin A, generating large amounts of benefits on the health of the eyes and skin, in addition, vitamin A participates in hormonal synthesis, in cell differentiation and growth, and strengthens our immune system ... what more can we ask for ... this is a super breakfast !!!
You will need the following ingredients:
For the Pumpkin pancakes:
• 2 cups of wheat flour.
• 2 butter spoons .
• 1/4 cup of sugar.
• 1 cup of boiled pumpkin.
• 1 egg.
• 1/4 cup of milk.
• 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
• 1/2 teaspoon of gene covers.
• 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg.
•1/2 teaspoon salt.
• 1 teaspoon of baking powder.
• 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence.
First you peel, clean and boil the squash until soft.
Then you add in the boiled pumpkin in the blender with the sugar, spices, milk, egg, and butter, vanilla and a pinch of salt, beat for a minute so that the ingredients are integrated.
After you add this mixture in a container, slowly add the flour and the baking powder, until it is a homogeneous mixture.
Then with a ladle, place portions in a previously heated non-stick pan, to form your pancakes, let them brown on both sides ... and build the ones you want.
Then you clean the papaya and cut men cubes to accompany the breakfast.
Finally take a carrot and oranges, cut the carrot and take it to the blender with a little water, pass it through the strainer to extract the juice and squeeze oranges to complete the juice, if you want add honey or sugar.
