I tried something new today, to do photo manipulation using the #Hive logo.
So, I went on pexels.com and downloaded a picture to use.
My intentions were to use my phone to do the manipulation, which I did, and along the way I faced some challenges.
3D Rendering
The logo was flat or plane and so using it that way won't give it a look realistic, so, I have to find a way to make it a 3D logo first, either with Photoshop or blender, I will also look for any mobile app that can create 3D images (if you know any please let me know).
This is my major challenge though, but there are other challenges like, casting a realistic shadow, masking, dodging and burning, most photo editing apps for Android don't have all these features in one, they either have this or that, but not all-in-one.
For me PicsArt is the best because there's almost all these features in it, so, there's no need editing in multiple apps thus, reducing the quality of the pictures. With PicsArt you can even Color correct or match the color of the subject to the environment. The only issue I have with PicsArt is that, there are no layers, so if you want to make an adjustment, you have to undo multiple step, even things you are satisfied with.
I guess adding layers to it might only make it too bulky or heavy for mobile devices.
Well, these are what I was able to achieve today, I will make more appropriate preparations next time.
What do you think of these?
