Honestly, I was a little nervous, because it was my first time writing on hive. Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mike Ambarwati. Usually called Mike. I'm a stay-at-home mom. What do you think of housewives? That's right. Shopping to the market, cooking, preparing children's school needs, taking children to school, cleaning the house, washing clothes and many others. This is what I do every day, it must be boring isn't it. In my spare time, I sometimes watch movies or dramas, watch YouTube videos or even just scroll through social media.
Now I'm trying to get the courage to write on hive. Actually, I have been learning to write for a long time but only limited to writing a daily journal book. Making a daily journal, I also record my exercise schedule in my journal. For me writing is very fun besides being able to sharpen our minds. Writing can also improve our mood. Even when I am upset or have a lot of problems, I also write it in my diary, and the great thing is that I feel much better afterwards.
Besides writing, I also like to read books. When I was in middle school, I found a book that made me love reading. That's right, it was Harry Potter. Who doesn't fall in love with it. I had to be willing to queue at the school library to get this book. After graduating from school and working. I saved up little by little so I could buy Harry Potter books. And that reading hobby has been going on until now. Surely you want to know what books I read? I usually read romance books, history books, and recently I'm reading a minimalist lifestyle book. And I try to practice it in my daily life. Starting from setting aside things that have not been used for a long time. Like my old clothes and my kids' broken toys. They often become items that accumulate in the house.
Well, this is my daily routine with my son. Yes, we often read books together. And afterwards we chat about our reading and also his routine at school. This can be very helpful to establish a close relationship with our child.
Stay-at-home moms can't escape their role as chefs at home. In addition to saving money, we are better able to choose ingredients that are good for our family to consume. In this era of convenience. It would be nice if we could try some recipes that are widely circulating on social media. I often try to practice it. And this is very helpful. The most enjoyable part is when my family enjoys every dish I make. For example, this Javanese fried noodles. Very favorite.
