My name is Nazneen Ansari and I am a full-time working women, wife and mother of 3 easy going kids. I am Swedish born Pakistan and have lived in Stockholm all my life so far which is 40+.

At a young age of barely 23 I decided to marry the love of my life @shahzad-ansari. The first biggest decision of my life that I made myself was to live in Pakistan for 6 months or at least until my husband got resident permit for Sweden. After the marriage I lived with my husband's family in Pakistan and that was an experience in itself. I had never lived in Pakistan for so long but my greatest wish was to celebrate all the holidays and be part of various family parties and weddings and above all to get to know my husband's family.
When my brother-in-law got married in 2019 my mother-in- law gave me this presious gift, award for the best daughter-in-law. I know that my mother-in-law loves me alot but that she wanted to give me an award for that it was really a surprice for me.
Throughout my schooling, there were only 2 subjects that I was interested the most: sewing and later psychology, which also became two of my main hobbies that I still do. Mostley I like to do everything that has to do with handy crafts. Psychology was introduced into my life as a hobby when I got my first kid at the age of 24. In passion to raise and take care of my child by myself with my husband I started to read about child development and child psychology.
But later I also discovered a need for this in my work as a teamleader and thatswhy I started to read psychological theories in working life with colleagues.
For me cooking is not the biggest satisfying thing to do. But with children and family, you have to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. When my first son was born, I read and learned a lot of practical things about children and food, so I submitted my recipe entry for a contest on baby food and how to get children to eat healthy. The fun part was that I won it and my recipe was published in a children's food book. In 2007, my husband @shahzad-ansari and I had created a website for Pakistani food to attract Swedes to learn how to cook Pakistani home cooking. I have some videos that we put up here.
There is also a little interest in cultural association life there. In 2016, me and my husband started a Pakistani NGO PICS where I became secretary + much more 😋. Within our NGO we try to introduce the fantastic Pakistani culture in Sweden. Every year we have a program Salam Pakistan where we try to involve children, adults etc.
The reason why I am sitting here today at Hive and writing my intro is because over the years I have developed an interest in writing down all my thoughts. I started writing down my thoughts on my mobile which I shared on social media. Recently my husband @shahzad-ansari and my son @saif-ul-wahab came from Pakistan. Where they had been told about Hive by their brothers @Shrazi and @rosecane. Since my husband knows about my interest in writing and that I have a lot written down, he introduced Hive to me and said that here I can write about everything that is on my mind.
I'm not an expert, but sometimes when I sit and think about life with work, children, family and how these 18 years of marriage have passed. There is a lot you can reflect on and maybe tell others how you did.
It will be fun to write about me and my life and experiences. See you, untill I write again.
