I just wanted to throw up a quick post in support of the real heroes on the frontlines right now.
My dad sent me a picture a few days ago from NYC - his unit (Navy) was deployed a few weeks back to help containment efforts/treatment of patients, and he said it's absolutely crazy there at the moment.
The white trucks lining the entire alleyway (and many other alleys) - full of bodies awaiting either family members to claim them, and if not, being buried in a mass grave.
I've never seen anything like this in my life, and it's shown me a lot. Both my mom and dad are on the frontlines right now, working directly with patients. I have so much respect for them and I just hope that they do not contract this in their effort to save others.
Thank you to everyone out there fighting this head on and working to save others. You guys and gals are the real heroes.
