El día de ayer cumplí mis 27 años de vida, y sinceramente no pensé que iba a tener la oportunidad ni siquiera de decirlo. El año pasado fue muy duro para todos, creo que llegamos en un punto en que no sabíamos si viviríamos el siguiente día o hasta la siguiente hora: caí en cama el año pasado por 6 meses, pocas personas sabían de eso, y muchos no se dieron de cuenta porque tal vez me vieron conectado, trabajando e intentando olvidar todo lo que me estaba pasando.
Yesterday was my 27th birthday, and I honestly didn't think I was going to have the opportunity to even say it. Last year was very hard for all of us, I think we reached a point where we did not know if we would live the next day or until the next hour: I fell in bed last year for 6 months, few people knew about it, and many did not realize it because maybe they saw me connected, working and trying to forget everything that was happening to me.
Una de las cosas que debo decir, ahora que se que tengo la oportunidad de hacerlo, es que estoy agradecido con Dios, y con todas las personas que siempre han estado allí para mi para darme palabras sinceras que me ayudaron a salir adelante, no fue nada fácil, fue realmente un caos del que nunca pensé que iba a salir, aun así recuerdo las palabras de mi madre en las que me decía "así sea por el cabello, te voy a sacar de allí", ahora que lo pienso es gracioso, pero así mismo fue, ella fue mi soporte y mi fuerza en esos momentos, y me ayudo a salir para luego yo ayudarle a ella, ya que la contagie con el covid, siendo que fui el primero en mi casa quien se enfermo con esta mortal enfermedad.
One of the things I must say, now that I know I have the opportunity to do so, is that I am grateful to God, and to all the people who have always been there for me to give me sincere words that helped me to get through it, it was not easy at all, it was really a chaos that I never thought I was going to get out of, Even so, I remember my mother's words in which she told me "even if it's for my hair, I'm going to get you out of there", now that I think about it, it's funny, but that's how it was, she was my support and my strength in those moments, and she helped me to get out and then I helped her, since I infected her with covid, being that I was the first one in my house who got sick with this deadly disease.
Un año más de vida y me pongo a pensar en todas las cosas que iba a dejar atrás, o más bien que esta olvidando que existían. Las amistades, esas conexiones reales que hacemos con un numero reducido de personas, quienes están allí aun cuando nosotros no los buscamos por miedo, temor o por ser una molestia.
One more year of life and I start thinking about all the things I was leaving behind, or rather forgetting they existed. The friendships, those real connections we make with a small number of people, who are there even when we don't seek them out because of fear, dread or being a nuisance.
Debo decir que @kirito-freud ha sido una gran persona para mi, mas que un mejor amigo, ha sido un hermano, es el contra de mis tristezas porque siempre me hace reír y ver el lado positivo de las cosas. Para mi es gratificante vivir momentos duros y tristes al lado de él, y también momentos de felicidad como lo es el poder contar con un nuevo año de vida, lo veo como una oportunidad más.
I must say that @kirito-freud has been a great person for me, more than a best friend, he has been a brother, he is the counter of my sadness because he always makes me laugh and see the positive side of things. For me it is gratifying to live hard and sad moments next to him, and also moments of happiness as it is to be able to have a new year of life, I see it as another opportunity.
Una de las cosas que más pensaba cuando estaba enfermo es que no iba a tener la oportunidad de poder comer una pizza con cerveza, siempre he visto en los programas de televisión que cuando celebran algo casi siempre lo hacen con comida favorita acompañada de cerveza, bien sea pollo frito o pizza con cerveza. En esos momentos estaba pensando en todas las cosas que quería hacer tal vez para motivarme a seguir luchando.
One of the things I thought about the most when I was sick is that I was not going to have the opportunity to be able to eat a pizza with beer, I have always seen on TV shows that when they celebrate something they almost always do it with a favorite food accompanied by beer, either fried chicken or pizza with beer. In those moments I was thinking about all the things I wanted to do maybe to motivate me to keep fighting.
Pues, mi mejor amigo me ha invitado a cumplir ese deseo, y aunque se vea como algo común, para mi fue una sensación de la cual no tengo palabras para describir, y es algo que me hace recordar la razón por la cual tanto lo deseaba, y era el poder compartir eso con alguien que me hace feliz, ser feliz yo, y hacer algo que me gusta, comer.
Well, my best friend has invited me to fulfill that wish, and although it seems like something common, for me it was a feeling that I have no words to describe, and it is something that makes me remember the reason why I wanted it so much, and it was to be able to share that with someone who makes me happy, to be happy myself, and to do something that I like, to eat.
Antes de comer, le tome algunas fotografías a la pizza y a la cerveza, lo coloque en mi estado de Whatsapp, y para mi sorpresa el dueño de la pizzería me dice que le ha gustado mucho las fotografías, así que entre conversaciones, decidió que me tomara algunos días para hacer una sesión de fotos para efectos publicitarios, es decir, fui a compartir por mi cumpleaños, y resulta ser que me han dado un nuevo trabajo, lo cual me encanta.
Before eating, I took some pictures of the pizza and beer, put it on my Whatsapp status, and to my surprise the owner of the pizzeria tells me that he really liked the pictures, so between conversations, he decided to take me a few days to do a photo shoot for publicity purposes, that is, I went to share for my birthday, and it turns out that I have been given a new job, which I love.
