As you might know those of you who talked to me at SteemFest4 in Bangkok, and asked why I didn't get my wife with me, the answer was, that we are waiting for a baby. Now it's final 10 days and we are so excited...
It's not the best time of course, but you know, older and wiser people says that it's never gonna be the good time. And I believe them!
Quarantine and all this Covid19 shit came suddenly into my world, when my chef called me and told, that there are gonna be two difficult month and we cant afford paying you full salary. I was confused.. renting a flat waiting for a baby and receiving a news that my income will be cut twice... lol) After all at least we are healthy and alive, i thought in that moment)
At the same time I've been trying to put this out as a possibility to make something that was lost somewhere in an old case...
Photography
While being at quarantine, I've made and processed around 100 photos. -> could be found here (yes i even uploaded them to Google, btww still remembering those times when we used flickr or 500px) Back in a days I wanted to become a pro photographer, but the little things and money making rally always was in the first place. Now it's changed. No money - no problem)
Youtube
I was trying to launch a beer related YouTube for AGES... i mean it. I did some tries 5 years ago. Then stopped. Tried once again, and stopped for the same reason as the photography. During the last 3 weeks I did 4 big Beer - related interviews, 4 beer tasing video-podcasts. 30 days stats says that I had something like 1600 views and 6500 minutes of watching my content and +45 subscribers which is a significant growth, and it's still funny to see, that someone needs this kind of content...

Work turned online
My chef told me that we need to figure out how to live in a new era, where all the pubs are closed, we have something like 60000 liters of beer in our cellars and have no idea how to sell it. Our website was crappy and slow, and SMM ended with organic coverage Youtube posts... Then it was an idea to giveaway the homemade bacon and a local whisky to every customer who orders at least 10 bottles of beer through our web store. He made a 5 minutes introduction video, and I used my skills to get it done for an Instagram and Facebook stories.
It goes like this
The ad on the Facebook got viral, and we made more than 200 gifts in a short term. 10000 people watched it on the Facebook and around 2500 did some action with it.
Besides that I did the @tsypabeer web page migration and changed some e-store setting to make people feel better during the order processing. There are lots of ideas... and the covid19 seems like a nice trigger to make that things going.
Coding (or copying the code)
Last one. As you might know, I've been studying programming languages when I was a teenager, and back in a days there was no good studying materials and work possibilities, so my life turned in a crazy way of alcohol business expert) Still I do remember some things, and understanding code is a bit easier for me than to a regular person) Nowadays I study Javascript working for Telegram bots and trying to work with an HIVE JS API's just for fun, and maybe for making some future marketing stuff for upcoming @cryptobrewmaster game.
So my daily challenges turned into the constant search of myself, self-education and becoming a better version of myself for my future baby boy) Hope he will proud of me one day!
Hope everything will over in a weeks so we will get back to our regular lives regardless, our lifes will never be the same again! As the main character of Stephen King's Dark Tower used to say: “where the world ends is where you must begin” - so we do begin!
