Hey Everybody...
Brought to you an interesting project today. I'm going to explain AELF (ELF).
ELF... ELF...? Ummm.. This word is familiar. Oh yes, I know ELFs.
Well, it's not those in the picture. It is the Decentralized Cloud Computing Blockchain Network. I hope the article picture has explained this. Because, that's the closest thing I've got about cloud computing.
Anyway, there are three main parts that you need to know about ELF and to save you the time. I'll share them here.
1. Information About The Company
This is a relatively new project. It does not have any history. As all of you know. It is decentralized so there is no limitation to which country this project is going to work from. Of course, you would need to know the list of exchanges AELF exists in so here it is:
Bitfinex, Binance, bithumb, UPbit, OKEX, Huobi Global, CEX.com, BCEX, Bibox, gate.io, KKEX, BigONE, OTCBTC, HYPEX, GOPAX, Bancor, KuCoin, Radar, COINTIGER, Kyber Network, AIRSWAP, HitBTC, BitForex, BITBOX, abcc, BitCloud, Bittrex, Coinw.ai and BITKAN.
Yes, I know the list of exchanges is quite big for a new project. But, this is a good start.
2. How Does Cloud Computing Work?
Assuming that some readers might do not fully understand the concept of cloud computing. I am going to just explain it and then jump to AELF part of this.
For instance, we have 2 companies (Company A & Company B). Starting with company A. They have decided to have an email for each employee with their name e.g. (ronnie10@companyA.com). In order for that to happen the company has two options. They either have to buy a server, then install an email on it and hire an IT team to maintain it. Or, they could use a cloud computing that Company B is offering. Company B job here is going to host the email server in their own servers which going to have a better availability time and the maintenance is might be done by Company B.
3. So, Where Does AELF Fit in This Picture?
Ok...
So, AELF is going to take the centralized cloud computing and apply it in decentralized model. By achieving this, it will eliminate the possibility of having one server deficiency affecting the whole system.
But, if we were going to define AELF. Then, we have to do so by sharing their characteristics, which are:
1- High Performance: By having the cloud servers run on the nodes and continuously creating new servers as needed.
2- Resource Segregation: The Blockchain's Smart Contracts are running independently on the system.
3- Governance & Development: You might have came across this before. Since this is going to be a decentralized system then the token holders are going to be voting for the future of the system.
