One of the all time Indian snack and quickly made snack is Pakora. This quite favors by all and is a common name at every household. The snack item is very easy to make, and taste much better than any other snack item available in market. Even it is quite good when made at home.
Some may call it as home made nuggets. This small nuggets shape item is crispy, oil fried mix of veggies and other stuff, however the most popular of all is made up of Onions. Like the one shown above. Gram flour is must to ak his snack item. Especially favoured by all during cool and pleasant rainy days.
Yesterday ,it was not any other days, it was Sunday and thanks to the changing climate around world, we had a surprise heavy rain, making weather quite cooler than expected. Also having lockdown outside, we feel to savour some spicy treat and end up prepairing Onion Pakora at home. We don't need to have any special ingredients as every items like :
- Gram flour (besan)
- Onions
- Chilli
- Garlic & Ginger
- Salt
- Baking powder
are readily available at home espcially every Indian home. We chopped all the Onions, chilli and mix them into a thicker dough .
Slowly and steadily, the dough in small sizes were, put into the frying pan. And made to cook in low steam.
We need to make sure that it get enough steam to cook properly, and avoid them from getting over cooked. So we need to keep them rolling and turninb over and again to completelly fry them from all side.
Always make sure to cook them in low steam, so that it get properly baked. Once the small nuggets balls started to get brownish, we took them out one by one.
Crispy , and Spicy..Ummm.. .I can saviour the taste now, having them hot is always delicious. This snack item is more tastier with a cup of Indian Tea, or can be serves with sauce and chutney.
This Pakora can also be called as a family snack item, as it is very tempting and every one like to have a bite once made. So I had my Sunday savoring upon the hot pakora at home and enjoying rest of the day with the family. @c0ff33a, @ace108 this is the way, I made my Sunday Sublime for #sublimesunday #beautifulsunday
