Learning Begins at home
Right from the day when a child is born his learning cycle starts at home. A few activities of new born baby such as sucking milk from his mother and clearing his bowls are innately biological and he does not have to learn them. But learning starts hearing the words from his siblings gradually he or she remember the words spoken by his family members. At the age of 3 year slowly he recognise the words like moon, sun, name of father, mother etc. For example my daughter @Suwaydah is 2.5 years old she remember the words like mama baaba etc.
This is natural phenomenon that almighty Allah has created the human being best creation in the world it is because humans have brain, now the question arises? Other animals have also brain, but humans are able to think what is right or what is wrong.
Not only words but small activities such as sitting on a chair to begin eating are stressed. Going out for a walk or caressing the pet or playing with toys, are activities acquired by the child by listening or emulating what his mother or sibling may be doing the child likes movement it is ingrained in his body and so it is difficult for the child to just sit quietly. If well fed the jumps around and occasionally breaks some objects around him. This activity is usually discouraged by the parents for obvious reasons.
The age of three years of the child is the right time for the parents to help children's learning, skills by recognise the color of the toy, make sure the counting of the toy, whenever you play with your child play through learning method. This helps the child to recognise the things slowly and things reinforce them to identify.
Mother's lap is the first school of the child so mother education is must, parents guidance will help them making brilliant if I take an example of rural areas where the child at the age of seven did not know about the letters, colours and did not recognise the things properly this the fault when a child is stuked in the class. When they enter into the school and teacher asks them tell me anything it staerers unlike the child which is properly guided at home. These are the things which differentiates the child's ability.
I remember my mother who is housewife singing songs about birds, birds fishes and tigers, when I was admitted in the primary school near Dashipora village I was in nursery standard then we were praying together after that doing curricular activities makes our body fresh and bold Someone rightly said that Sound body keeps sound mind
Singing together various common songs or a country's national anthem is also part of curriculum and so do physical exercises and sports.
Occasionally, offering small prises promote sports and physical exercises. I remember one of my best teacher @Tasleema madam singing to small children songs about birds and other rhymes. One song that was in Urdu language it's translation is below:
A fish is the queen of the pond she is in
Her life is due to the water she swims in
Takes her out and we know what happens
So let her swim and enjoy swimming
After the nursery or pre- primary stage of schooling children move on to formal schooling with class one two up to five in the primary stage and then secondary stage and senior secondary stages etc.
However learning ladder has already been laid for schooling and education. Let's concentrate a solid wholesome ladder for the child and the society.
My opinion
Please and please make your children's secure from the current situation of the world many of the children's are involved in drugs and other abusive elements it is our responsibility to take care of the family so that we can live peaceful and best life in the society
