Over the weekend we happened upon a local field day. My son had his first soccer game, so we left the house early to bring him to the game. After the game, it just so happened that there was a small event in the next town over.
We decided to check it out.
Yeah, well you they really know how to welcome you.
Kissing booth? Thought we were supposed to be social distancing?
Don't worry everyone. It was just their donkey, and he didn't want kisses, just food.
And a couple of small animals.
I guess you could say the townies didn't go here for the animals because that was it.
They really went for all the tables that made it seem more like a flea market than a field day event.
The kids had a great time.
In the sensory table.
Crafts table
In the fire truck.
In the "corn" maze.
Don't worry, there will be real corn mazes coming soon
Overall, it was a fun thing to stumble into.
I can't wait to go to all the big fairs in my area. I'll make sure to take pictures of those large events.
What's your favorite thing about field days? They did have a DJ, a clown and food trucks. I'd say the food is always my favorite.
