This is a requested topic reading on a subject that I have pondered many times.
The real question is "Will the hadron collider cause some sort of catastrophe?"
They are making anti-matter, and they are trying to make a tiny black hole. There seem to be many ways that this could go wrong.
Let's see what the cards say.
The King of Pentacles returns at the root card. The King of Pentacles seems to be in almost every reading. Because the King is a master of stability, I'm taking this as a good sign. It's also the sign that money is being made.
The 2 currents coming from the moon in the cards is interesting, especially since they are almost opposite energies. It would make sense in a place making anti-matter.
The Queen of Wands representing the source of the current is interesting, and I really have no idea what it means. It doesn't look diabolical, and that's about all I can say.
The High Priestess would show that whatever happens, it should be contained, and maybe even secret.
I am happy that the cards showed that they wouldn't make the World-Eater, although they might try.
