Well what can I say. My last post was over 7 months ago. A long time ago but still it seems longer. How are you all? I hope all is well? For those wondering what I've been doing all this time, mostly working. You may also have noticed, otherwise I will explain that I 'powered down' my Hive account.
Just before corona I got an assignment next to my current assignment. So basically two jobs at the same time, which meant I was (and still am) working from early in the morning until late at night. That's why I really didn't have time to delve into anything, write posts or even spend time on things other than work. Is that healthy? no, but that's how it went.
I then decided to powerdown my hive to eventually put it on Binance, I then exchanged my hive for a number of other coins to further expand my balancing strategy, see my previous post"https://hive.blog/hive -174578/@verhp11/so-how-are-things-with-my-balancing-strategy-a-update". I thought, when I don't have much time to delve further into Crypto, coins, market size, etc. Then I'll see if we can make something out of it :)
Well how did it go? Actually it went quite well, with the Shrimpy tool the balancing was done automatically, until......
I had Luna in my portfolio, and when Luna crashed Shrimpy kept automatically buying Luna more and selling other coins.... I, as inexperienced as I am, noticed this too late lol... As a result my portfolio in terms of value was minimized. Almost everything gone in one fell swoop. Very unfortunate, but my own stupid fault. A hard lessons learned. Anyway, an experience richer :)
My music
Who remembers, I wrote a lot about music. An important part in my life. That hasn't changed yet :) , I still play in a band with my brother, only we don't rehearse very often, lack of time but also planning of 4 people. I did buy a new bass guitar, a SIRE Marcus Miller. Great instrument that I will write a piece about soon.
Also experienced a low point in the music. About 3 weeks ago I went to a Jam Session near here with my son. when we got there i saw Michel, a well known and great guitarist from around here. I hadn't seen him in months, the last time I played with him was in September 2021, in honor of Bennie
Michel looked good, he had stopped smoking, had stopped drinking. He used to be really rock and roll, a bit too much for me :) , a lot of booze, smoking weed... But always that great guitarist.
We talked for a long time at the jam session, about amps, guitars, music in general... It was nice to see him again. Until 2 days later I got the message that he had a double brain haemorrhage, at the gym... I didn't know what I was hearing and it really kept me busy... So bizarre, he was 61, just finished his life order and then something terrible happens. It really kept me busy and devastated.
Together with my good friend Danny we went to the condolence. Very musical Zutphen was there, many acquaintances. It was a crazy situation, almost like a reunion in the wrong place.
Last Sunday there was another jam session, but this time completely in memory of Michel. It was very busy and in one corner was a nice picture of him with his last guitar, a Flying V.
a beautiful musician is no more....
take care,
Peter
