Hi guys! A few weeks ago we had the Adopt a Plankton 2.0 I tried to bring back that initiative but bigger and better, it was honestly a success this time around we took the good parts of this initiative in the past and merge it with the awesome work some hivers have been doing too, We try to help not only onboard new users but to actually retain them and help them thrive on our blockchain, we did this step by step with them with 7 different practical master classes that took them from What is Hive on the first to making their first post and getting it curated on the last one.

¡Hola chicos! Hace unas semanas tuvimos el Adopt a Plankton 2.0 intenté traerla de vuelta, pero más grande y mejor, honestamente fue un éxito, tomamos las partes buenas de esta iniciativa en el pasado y las fusionamos con el trabajo increíble que algunos hivers también han estado haciendo. Tratamos de ayudar no solo a incorporar nuevos usuarios, sino también a retenerlos y ayudarlos a prosperar en nuestra blockchain, lo hicimos paso a paso con ellos con 7 clases prácticas diferentes que los llevaron desde Qué es Hive en la primera hasta la curación de su primer post en la última.

The Hive Classroom

We will be re-introducing the #Hive-Classroom a discord server created exclusively to teach about Hive, is a place free to use for all the community, the idea of this was born on the brain of @ilazramusic he wanted a server that wasn’t associated to any particular community or project that way we can be completely neutral and just focus on helping users learn more about Hive and nothing more.

That is why this time the classes are just that, free classes to help new and not so new start on Hive from 0, there is not an initiative behind it, we will be doing this classes every last week of the month that way if adopt a plankton starts again, we can have the brand-new users join that or the newbie initiative carry by @aliento and @starstrings01 or any other to continue helping them beyond their first week on Hive.

Volveremos a presentar el #Hive-Classroom un servidor de discord creado exclusivamente para enseñar sobre Hive, es un lugar de uso gratuito para toda la comunidad, la idea de esto nació en el cerebro de @ilazramusic quería un servidor que no estuviera asociado a una comunidad o proyecto en particular, asi somos completamente neutrales y solo enfocarnos en ayudar a los usuarios a aprender más sobre Hive y nada más.

Es por eso que esta vez las clases son solo eso, clases gratuitas para ayudar a los nuevos y no tan nuevos a comenzar en Hive desde 0, no hay una iniciativa detrás, estaremos haciendo estas clases cada última semana del mes de esa manera, asi si Adopt a Plankton comienza de nuevo podemos hacer que los nuevos usuarios se unan a ella o la iniciativa de novatos llevada por aliento y starstrings01 o cualquier otra para continuar ayudándolos más allá de su primera semana en Hive.

The Classes || Las Clases

We want the new users to have the knowledge needed to understand Hive and start the right way on our chain, for this we will be having different classes that will go from the “What is Hive?” topic to “How to promote correctly your posts”, the classes will be very basic since we don’t want the new users to drown in too much info that is hard to understand even for older more experience users, but it would be pretty complete info to help them not only not make the same mistakes all new users make but to actually get to know the chain beyond just being a place to post content and get rewarded.

Queremos que los nuevos usuarios tengan los conocimientos necesarios para empezar de la manera correcta, las diferentes clases irán desde "¿Qué es Hive?" a "Promocionar correctamente tus posts", bastante básicas ya que no queremos que los nuevos usuarios se ahoguen en demasiada información difícil de entender incluso para los usuarios de más experiencia, pero sera info bastante completo para ayudarlos no solo a no cometer los mismos errores que cometen todos los nuevos usuarios, sino a conocer la cadena más allá de ser un lugar para publicar contenido y obtener recompensas.

How to be part of this? || Cómo participar?

Just join the discord server and attend each and every class, is for free so there is nothing to lose and a lot of knowledge to gain, the server has very basic rules like no spam or link dropping allow, not bullying or hate speech and we just ask all participants to be civil with each other. We also ask for the respect all the coaches deserve when giving a class since they are doing this without getting any paid completely voluntary.

If you are an experience Hiver already you can bring a new user or even better someone who doesn't even has an account yet so they can start from scratch and make their account with us.

Simplemente únase al servidor de discord y asista a todas y cada una de las clases, es gratis, por lo que no hay nada que perder y mucho conocimiento que ganar, el servidor tiene reglas muy básicas como no permitir el spam o dejar links, no el acoso o el discurso de odio y que todos los participantes sean corteses entre ellos. También pedimos el respeto que merecen todos los coach a la hora de dar una clase ya que lo están haciendo sin cobrar nada y de forma totalmente voluntaria.

Si ya tienes una experiencia en Hiver, puedes traer un nuevo usuario o incluso mejor a alguien que aún no tiene una cuenta para que pueda empezar de cero y hacer su cuenta con nosotros.
