Today I'm going to take the alternative trail (ER-379), which refers to the road that runs from the beginning of Arrabida to downtown Setubal. We'll be able to explore the beauty of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean vegetation amidst the landscape.🏞️📍

¡Saludos amigos! Un placer estar paseándome por esta bonita comunidad, hoy vamos a realizar una caminata en la montaña para ejercitarnos y disfrutar de la naturaleza, hoy voy a realizar el sendero alternativo (ER-379) que el nombre se refiere a la carretera que va desde el inicio de la Arrabida hasta Setubal centro, vamos a poder explorar entre el paisaje las bellezas del atlántico y la vegetación mediterránea🌍.

Well our adventure begins at the coordinates that I leave you in the gif now we are going to start from the beginning of the national highway (ER-379) which is why it gets its name, now we go east following the street until we pass by the convents and climb 200 meters high, you can make some detours to enjoy the viewpoints that are 5 in total all with different panoramic views of the ocean and the beaches.🏞️🌅
Bien nuestra aventura comienza en las coordenadas que les dejo en el gif ahora vamos a comenzar partiendo desde el inicio de la carretera nacional (ER-379) que por ello se debe el nombre, ahora vamos en dirección Este acompañando la calle hasta pasar por los conventos y subir 200 metros de altura, puedes hacer algunos desvíos para disfrutar de los miradores que son 5 en total todos con vistas panorámicas diferentes al océano y las playas.📸🌍

Cada mirador aparece en googlemaps como un espacio de estacionamiento, pero nadie nunca les coloco nombre, yo hoy en mi blog los iré bautizando cada uno de ellos, el primero es el mirador "Troia" el cual se destaca por poder fotografiar y disfrutar de la península de Troia, un lugar único del Margen sur con buenas playas y ruinas romanas.🗺️🚩
After a little less than 100 meters we come across a pedestrian viewpoint, this is not suitable for parking a vehicle, but if we are hiking we can take a photo. I called it "crossroads 69" because from the beginning of the mountain range to this section there are more than 60 curves, imagine how crazy the mountain is, and it is quite dangerous there are many motorcycle accidents, here we can see a little of the "Portinho" beach🏞️📸
Pasado poco menos de 100 metros nos topamos un mirador peatonal, este no da para estacionar un vehículo, pero si estamos haciendo senderismos si podemos tirar una foto le llame "cruce 69" porque desde que inicia la sierra hasta este tramo hay más de 60 curvas imagínate la locura que es la montaña, y es bastante peligrosa hay muchos accidentes en moto, aquí podemos ver un poco la playa de "Portinho"😁📍
The third viewpoint is a little further away, approximately 180 meters away from the second, this one also has no access to vehicles and is on a corner, it is important because year on we will be able to see more of the beach from the next viewpoints, from here it is uphill and the others are in nicer places📸🌍
El tercer mirador está un poco más lejos, aproximadamente a 180 metros de distancia del segundo, este de igual forma no tiene acceso a vehículos y está en una esquina, es importante porque y año podremos ver más la playa en los próximos miradores, a partir de aquí es subida y los otros están en sitios más bonitos🏞️
This is one of my favorite photographs. Below, you can see a small village with fewer than 20 houses. There's a hidden beach called "Alpertuche." I once made a video of it with my drone. By the way, I lost my first drone there in the mountains, which is why I had a bad experience there, haha! But I can take advantage of the fact that from here, there's a path that goes down from the convent.📍🌍
Esta es una de mis fotografías favoritas, debajo se observa una pequeña villa con menos de 20 casas esa zona alli es una playa escondida que se llama "alpertuche" en una ocasión hice un video con el drone de ella, que por cierto perdí mi primer drone alli entre las montañas por eso tengo mala experiencia allí jaja! Pero bueno aprovechar que desde aquí hay un sendero que va hasta allá abajo desde el convento.📸🌅

Por este ya pasamos anteriormente y creo que hice un post exclusivo para el metiéndome por otra ruta, es el más famoso y visitado de la Arrabida y hay muchas fotos y bromas con el puente de madera por internet.🧭
Now comes a point in the hike where we can see the highest mountain in the area: Alto do Formosinho, a hill over 400 meters high, and we could take a trail to get there. If you want to see the route, you can find it on my blog. We already climbed that mountain in the summer.🌍📍
Ahora llega un momento de la caminata que podemos ver la montana mas alta de los alrededores se trata de Alto do formosinho, una colina con mas de 400 metros de altura y la cual podríamos hacer un sendero para llegar alla arriba, si deseas ver como es el recorrido puedes conseguirlo en mi blog, ya estuvimos subiendo esa montaña en verano.🗺️🚩

now that we've seen all the viewpoints, it's time to head back to the village, but we won't be taking the ER-379. Instead, we'll head into the mountain to shorten the route. In less than 40 minutes, we'll be at "Aldeia dos Irmaos" (Aldeia dos Irmaos), where we'll take the opportunity to photograph a beautiful forest.🚙🧭
Ahora que ya vimos todos los miradores es momento de devolvernos hacia la aldea, pero no lo haremos por la ER-379 al contrario vamos a meternos por dentro de la montaña para acortar camino y menos de 40 min estamos en "aldeia dos irmaos" y aprovechamos en fotografiar un bonito bosque.🌅🏔️
