This week was a bit bumpy. As I said before, I am not at home. I am helping a friend to take care of his garden, at this time of the year it is normal that people come in and try to steal from him. I have been here for more than a month now, far away from the big urban areas. I brought my computer, as it could not be otherwise.

Esta semana fue un poco accidentada. Como ya conté anteriormente no estoy en mi casa. Estoy ayudando a un amigo a cuidar la huerta, en esta época es normal que entren a querer robarle. Hace ya más de un mes que me encuentro aquí, alejado de las grandes zonas urbanas. Traje mi computadora, como no podría ser de otra manera.

A few days ago, I was taking a nap when my friend woke me up to tell me that he had to go buy some things. Someone always has to be on duty, so with one eye open I stayed in bed, sheltered while I listened to the truck drive away. A few minutes later I began to hear some noises in the garden and, startled, I got out of bed. I grabbed the rifle and went outside.

I hoped, having imagined the noise.

To my surprise there was a guy crouched down pulling a plant to dig it up. When I yelled at him and he saw me aiming he was scared to death. He turned pale, white as a sheet of paper. I shouted at him to go away, which he did instantly. But from then on our paranoia increased exponentially. We stepped up the guards, slept very little, and we will be like this for another week until harvest time begins. They shall not pass.

Hace unos días, estaba tomando una siesta cuando mi amigo me despertó avisando que tenía que ir a comprar unas cosas. Siempre alguien tiene que quedar de guardia, así que con un ojo abierto me quede en la cama cobijado mientras oía a la camioneta alejarse. Unos minutos después comencé a escuchar unos ruidos en el jardín y sobresaltado salí de la cama. Agarre el rifle y salí al exterior.

Esperaba, haber imaginado el ruido.

Había un sujeto agachado jalando una planta para desenterrarla. Cuando le grite y me vió apuntando se asustó. Se puso pálido, blanco como una hoja de papel. Lo increpe para que se vaya, cosa que hizo instantáneamente. Pero de ahí en más nuestra paranoia aumentó. Intensificamos las guardias, dormimos muy poco y así estaremos por una semana más. No pasaran.

I am telling you this so that you can excuse the lack of Backstage images and an own write-up of the creation process. I tell them because we already have that confidence to tell each other things haha!

My entry this week was pretty good, it's not one of my best, I had a hard time focusing this week. But I achieved something that I had been planning several designs ago without success. I created a portal to another dimension in the sky and something comes out of it. I really like the effect I got. The sky was the first thing I modified! I almost forgot it. I love how it looks when you change the sky, especially placing more starry or brightly colored surfaces.

I found few ideas to work on the lower forest, so many leaves and trees together it's hard to modify, add depth or objects. I hope to have better ideas for the future because it is normal in many images.

I duplicated the towers and connected them with some lightning and added a moon on the left which I noticed was a bit empty.

Les cuento esto para que sepan disculpar la falta de imágenes de Backstage y una propia redacción del proceso de creación. Se los cuento porque ya tenemos esa confianza para contarnos cosas jaja!

Mi entrada de esta semana me quedó bastante bien, no es de mis mejores, me costó enfocarme esta semana. Pero logré algo que venía planeando varios diseños atrás sin éxito. Crear un portal a otra dimensión en el cielo y que algo salga de allí. Me gusta bastante el efecto que conseguí. El cielo fue lo primero que modifique! Casi lo olvido. Me encanta como queda cuando cambias el cielo, sobre todo colocar superficies más estrelladas o con colores llamativos.

Encontré pocas ideas para trabajar en el bosque inferior, tantas hojas y árboles juntos se me hace difícil de modificar, agregar profundidad u objetos. Espero tener mejores ideas para el futuro porque es normal en muchas imágenes.

Duplique las torres y las conecte con unos relámpagos y agregue una luna a la izquierda que noté que estaba algo vacío.
