Hello, LMAC community, I recently came across the post and realized I still had time to participate, so I decided to jump in and get to work. I looked at many designs, and honestly, the image had several elements that posed a challenge, especially the trees, which made managing the space a bit tricky. However, I believe it’s great to take on challenges like this. In the end, the result was the one I already shared with you, and the steps I followed were as follows
Hola, gente de LMAC, Hace poco vi la publicación y me di cuenta de que todavía tenía tiempo para participar, así que decidí poner manos a la obra. Observé muchos diseños y, sinceramente, la imagen tenía varias partes que representaban un desafío, especialmente los árboles, que complicaban un poco el manejo del espacio. Sin embargo, considero que es bueno enfrentarse a retos de esta naturaleza. Finalmente, el resultado fue el que ya les mostré, y los pasos que seguí fueron los siguientes

I chose this image to represent the idea of cosmic beings arriving on Earth at night, appearing magically or astrally. The erasing process was done using a pencil tool with a tree texture, which made the task much easier as it avoided the need to remove leaves or delicate sections of the tree and the image individually.
Later, I applied some shadow and lighting techniques to highlight key elements. However, the design took a dramatic turn when I introduced the wizard, which set the tone for the project and allowed me to complete it within a nighttime setting.
Seleccioné esta imagen para representar la idea de unas personas cósmicas que llegan a la Tierra por la noche, apareciendo de forma mágica o astral. El borrado fue realizado con una herramienta de lápiz que tiene textura de árboles, lo cual facilitó el proceso, ya que no fue necesario eliminar hoja por hoja ni trabajar en cada detalle delicado del árbol o la imagen. Posteriormente, apliqué algunas técnicas de sombras y luces para resaltar los elementos clave. Sin embargo, el diseño tomó un giro significativo al momento de encontrar al mago, lo que definió la dirección del proyecto y me permitió finalizarlo en un contexto nocturno.
The nighttime setting allowed me to remove and segment the wizard to fit this new idea. I also added lights emanating from his hands to emphasize his role as a sorcerer. Additionally, I incorporated some snow into the scene and darkened certain areas to balance the contrast.
After finishing the light effects, I looked at the final design and felt satisfied with the result. I hope to participate in more contests in the future, and if not, I sincerely wish you all a wonderful holiday season. Enjoy every moment and have a great start to the new year.
La imagen nocturna me permitió eliminar y segmentar al mago para adaptarlo a esta nueva idea. También añadí luces que emanan de sus manos para reforzar la sensación de que es un hechicero. Además, incorporé un poco de nieve en la escena y oscurecí algunas zonas para equilibrar el contraste.
Una vez que terminé de agregar las luces, observé el diseño final y quedé satisfecho con el resultado. Espero poder participar en más concursos en el futuro, y si no es posible, les deseo de corazón unas hermosas fiestas. Que disfruten cada momento y logren un excelente comienzo de año.
