I admit, at first I had no idea what I could do for the collage of this LMAC round. But then a lucky twist of fate happened.
Because I found some of my old music records in the attic on Saturday. From Pink Floyd, Nazareth, Gong and some others.
It did not take long until I fell for the temptation and put the record player in my workroom. Fired up by the great music (and the crackling sounds of the record player), my creativity was suddenly sparked up again. I felt the strong urge to open the GIMP on the computer, then the creative adventure took its course.
Zugegeben, ich hatte für die Collage dieser LMAC-Runde zunächst keinerlei Idee, was ich machen könnte. Aber dann ergab sich eine glückliche Fügung des Schicksals.
Ich habe nämlich am Samstag auf dem Dachboden ein paar meiner alten Schallplatten wieder gefunden. Von Pink Floyd, Nazareth, Gong und einigen anderen.
Es dauerte nicht lange, bis ich der Versuchung erlag und den Schallplattenspieler in mein Arbeitszimmer stellte. Beflügelt von der tollen Musik (und dem Knistern des Plattenspielers), wurde endlich meine Kreativität wieder angekurbelt. Ich verspürte den starken Drang das GIMP am Rechner zu öffnen, somit nahm das kreative Abenteuer seinen Lauf.
A little story first...

Deep in the woods, there lives an ancient god. He is everywhere there, like an omnipresent spirit. But people have forgotten how to see and recognize him.
Thanks to his great power, the trees can talk to each other. Once people were also able to listen to the conversations of the trees. But they have also unlearned.
The Patron, the animals and the plants of the forest call him, who gives them their daily bread. But he has many names. Because he is also the Fertile One, because he makes the ground fertile for the plants.
He is a wise god. The ancients still knew that. And so it was not strange in the past for people to go into the woods to ask this wise old god for advice. Today, almost no one knows about this anymore.
Nowadays, people only remember the fruits that this old, wise, kind and fruitful God makes grow. Rather than asking him for advice or even worshiping him, people today no longer think of doing so.
Every day mankind goes to war against his kingdoms instead. But the god only laughs about it. Because what only he knows is that the karma is on his side and he will laugh at last.
Zunächst eine kleine Geschichte...

Tief in den Wäldern, da lebt ein uralter Gott. Er ist dort überall, wie ein allumfassender Geist. Doch die Menschen haben es verlernt ihn sehen und wahrnehmen zu können.
Seiner großen Macht ist es zu verdanken, dass die Bäume miteinander sprechen können. Einst waren auch die Menschen noch fähig, den Gesprächen der Bäume lauschen. Doch auch haben sie verlernt.
Den Gönner, nennen ihn die Tiere und die Pflanzen des Waldes, der er ihnen ihr täglich Brot gibt. Aber viele Namen hat er. Denn er ist auch der Fruchtbare, da den Boden für die Pflanzen fruchtbar macht.
Es ist ein weiser Gott. Das wussten die Alten noch. Und so war es früher nicht ungewöhnlich, dass Menschen in den Wald gingen, um diesen weisen, alten Gott um Rat zu fragen. Heute weiß davon fast niemand mehr.
Heute erinnert sich der Mensch nur noch an die Früchte, die dieser alte, weise, gütige und fruchtbare Gott wachsen lässt. Statt ihn um Rat zu bitten oder gar zu huldigen, kommt den Menschen heute nicht mehr in den Sinn.
Täglich zieht die Menschheit stattdessen gegen seine Reiche in den Krieg. Doch der Gott lacht darüber nur. Denn was nur er weiß ist, dass das Karma auf seiner Seite ist und er zuletzt lachen wird.

LMAC and LIL
LMAC is a great art community in the Hive, dedicated to the realm of collages and everything that follows the principle of a collage. So creating images, with parts from other images and your own modifications.
We have a weekly collage making contest there where you can win prizes. I made my collage for round 92 of this contest. But, I am participating out of competition because I'm a member of the contest's jury.
We also have an image library at LMAC (Let's make a collage) for which numerous Hivers provided and still provide us with photos, artwork and 3D renderings. We call this library LIL (LMAC Image Library).
Just take a look. Even if you think you're not an artist, give it a try. You might prove yourself wrong. The weekly challenges are a great way to awaken and train your inner artist.
LMAC und LIL
LMAC ist eine großartige Kunst-Community im Hive, die sich mit dem Bereich der Collagen beschäftigt und allem was dem Prinzip einer Collage folgt. Also dem Erstellen von Bildern, mit Teilen aus anderen Bildern und eigenen Modifikationen.
Wir haben dort einen wöchentlichen Collagen-Wettbewerb, bei dem man Preise gewinnen kann. Ich habe meine Collage für die Runde 92 dieses Wettbewerbes gemacht. Allerdings nehme ich außer Konkurenz teil, da ich Mitglied der Jury des Wettbewerbs bin.
Wir haben bei LMAC (Let's make a collage) auch eine Bild-Bibliothek, für welche uns zahlreiche Hiver Fotos, Kunstwerke und 3D-Renderings zur Verfügung stellten und immer wieder zur Verfügung stellen. Wir nennen diese Bibliothek LIL (LMAC Image Library).
Schau einfach mal rein. Selbst wenn du denken solltest, du seist kein Künstler, probiers doch mal aus. Möglicherweise wirst du dir selbst das Gegenteil beweisen. Die wöchentlichen Herausforderungen helfen prima, deinen inneren Künstler zu wecken und auszubilden.
