Entry for LMAC#37 (Let's Make a Collage challenge by @shaka)

By chance I discovered the contest of @shaka and thought I would try my luck. Because I never did something like that before, I learned a lot :D

Preparation

It starts with the original picture of @shaka:

Step 1

Since it is supposed to be a collage, I started looking for things that I can integrate into the picture. I found some things in my pictures that could be integrated quite well:

a tree trunk
one of my dogs (Bonzer)
a water protection area sign

Since the roof of the building on the left was too empty, I have extended the building there, so that later in the window there is also something to see.

After these elements were integrated the whole thing looked like this:

Step 2

Not a bad start, but there's more. The next step was to optimize the colors and then use some filter magic to turn it into a painting

Step 3

Not bad. But something was missing. So the picture got some frames, gradients and background effects. The result then looks like this:
