Hello all collage lovers! Once again I join the contest in round 184 of the same. For this opportunity we were given a very interesting photograph. At first, I thought it was quite funny, but when I sat down to examine it to think about what to create for my composition, it stopped looking like something funny and turned into a rather sad scene. So no matter how much I thought about how to make the collage, I couldn't help but maintain those "melancholic" feelings at all times. And this was the result:
When I saw the scene of that poor trapped animal, trying to get out of its confinement, I don't know why the hell the industrialization process came to mind, where, in favor of improvements and development, one reaches one's own destruction and at unimaginable levels. So with that in mind, I looked in the community gallery for some images that could help me bring my concept to life.
The program that I usually use to make collages is Photoshop. In the base photograph, I placed the images that I obtained from the gallery and made some slight changes to them to be able to use them, such as variations in size, shape and color.
Once this was done, I blended all the layers and split the image so I could change the colors through filters. On the one hand, we can see that "ideal" and utopian world, where nature and resources are appreciated and on the other, the deformation to the point of ignorance itself.

¡Hola a todos los amantes de los collages! Una vez más me uno al concurso en la ronda 184 del mismo. Para ésta oportunidad se nos brindó una fotografía bastante interesante. Al principio, la misma me pareció bastante graciosa, pero cuando me senté a examinarla para pensar en qué elaborar para mi composición, dejó de verse como algo divertido para tornarse en una escena más bien triste. Así que por más que pensaba en cómo elaborar el collage, no podía evitar mantener esos sentimientos "melancólicos" en todo momento. Y éste, fue el resultado:
Al ver la escena de ese pobre animal atrapado, haciendo el intento de salir de su encierro, no sé porqué rayos me vino a la mente el proceso de industrialización, en donde, en pro de las mejoras y el desarrollo, se llega a la propia destrucción y a niveles inimaginables. Así que con eso en mente, busqué en la galería de la comunidad, algunas imágenes que pudieran servirme para poder darle vida a mi concepto.
El programa que suelo utilizar para la elaboración de collages, es el Photoshop. En la fotografía base, coloqué las imágenes que obtuve de la galería y les hice unos ligeros cambios para poder utilizarlas, como variación de tamaño, forma y de color.
Una vez hecho esto, mezclé todas las capas y dividí la imagen para poder cambiar los colores a través de filtros. Por un lado, podemos ver ese mundo "ideal" y utópico, en donde la naturaleza y los recursos, son apreciadas y por el otro, la deformación hasta el propio desconocimiento.
