With the pandemic coming out at the beginning of the year, virtually every country shut its doors and all activities shut down. The pandemic can be regarded as being chaotic and disturbing, affecting everything around the world including digit in the stock market, the most affected when the younger generation with students being affected. All schools were shut down in countries that were affected with this pandemic, schools in my country are yet to resume but something fascinating happened during this period and that is the introduction of technology to education. Education has always been evolving around classrooms and technology has been resisted for a very long time, but this pandemic just changed everything creating a billion-dollar industry for people in the education technology industry.

A lot of schools in my country shifted to education technology as schools needed not to close curriculums and had to do a lot like teaching, tests, and examinations. E-learning now became the way forward during the pandemic. Companies like By BYJU’S, ALISON and other education technology E-learning companies are now enjoying the billion-dollar company as a lot of parents now want to teach their children themselves regarding it as after school coaching lessons, Company like BYJU’s have seen over 50 million users register during this pandemic. The learning procedure is simple as people enjoy live classes with augmented reality explanations.
A lot of schools are also now using their website to create a platform for e-learning thereby increasing remote learning and education technology. Schools now hold exams which the teacher do not have to spend much time marking scripts rather, they just submit the questions and the answer as well, leaving it to program and Artificial intelligence to proofread and ascertain answers.
From Nursery, Primary, High School, College/University students can now enjoy good learning and the class experience from the comfort of their home. The major problem of the education technology is data currently as most students do not have the available data to learn especially in elementary learning. Also, the access to internet connection is another problem which is going to be affecting education technology.
