Sometimes we are slow with progress because we set long period for the achievement of that goal. If you were given a deadline to deliver a job in a month time, you might feel very relaxed about the job until it is probably close and you will make sure you deliver the job in a month but if on the other hand, there is a good pay for the same type of job and you are to deliver in one week you will still deliver a perfect job within the space of one week.
Those goals you set for your business is probably taking a longer time because you are giving yourself so much space to relax, you are probably giving yourself lot of luxury for comfort. Some new entrepreneurs now find comfort in sleeping for very lengthy periods, maybe you can do that when you have successfully gotten to a point you can finally relax, but when you are just starting your business you do not have the luxury of time to give yourself more periods of rest. If you have a goal to achieve, give yourself an ultimatum to get the goal achieved and this will push you further and get the work done with both speed and accuracy.
Irrespective of what you choose to do, time will always go by gradually it will never wait for you for one second it is surely going to keep moving and the human nature is programmed not to stress itself when there is a longer time for the achievement of a project but the sooner you have to get it done the more commitment you offer to the job.
The secret to achieving a project faster is not giving yourself so much space for relaxation, I am not saying you should push yourself too hard that you will not be able to deliver properly because while we consider speed we also have to consider accuracy, so there is no point in running while you are not achieving anything but the trick is to be able to move fast while you deliver the best not giving the liberty for idleness or laziness.
So what you have to do is set a plan daily and try to meet up with those plans every single day desiring growth, walking in the path of growth and definitely achieving set goals, that is the idea to developing yourself better, instead of saying I will try next week or I will try tomorrow, begin today and see the benefit that will come out of the movement.
