In general, you must have noticed that navy seals are far stronger than the civilians. This strength that we see in their physical abilities is gotten from their mental framework. They've been so trained, that their entire body system has adapted to pressure and challenging situations. The navy seals have an extraordinarily high level of discipline. Discipline is the major problem with most businessmen, perhaps there are one or two things you could learn from navy seals to increase your level of discipline.
Here's a question, I'll like to ask you - how many press ups do you think that you can do? I can assure you that whatever the number of press ups you think you can do that's just about 40% of the total number of press ups you're truly capable of doing. Here's an example, perhaps you think that you can do just 4 press ups, and your mind tells you that you can't go further. The real truth is that if you keep pushing you'll see that you're capable of doing 10 press ups.
We humans are capable of a lot more than we think we are capable of. I can tell you that you have a lot more in your reserve tank than you can ever believe you do. Most times, you just need to push yourself beyond your comfort zone. The reason why most people fail and quit is that they're not willing to go the extra mile. They think they're incapable of completing a big task, but what they don't realize is that we are capable of a lot more.

The navy seals have a saying - "If it doesn't suck, we don't do it". This is a statement that hits on the subconscious of the navy seals, and gives the extra push in situations that suck for them to keep moving. It's the same thing in business and in many other aspects of life, sometimes you reach a point and you say to yourself I can't take it anymore. That's why 90% of the population quit. But if you truly want to be successful, know that you just reached 40% of the distance you are capable of going. And you just have to keep on pushing.
There's a bigger man inside of most of us than we choose to believe. Have you ever gone on a distance race, perhaps a marathon. It's always lovely at the beginning, you see the crowd of people saying "wow, it's fun to do this". Just before you get to 40% of the distance more than half of the people that started the marathon have fallen off. Most times, the winner of the marathon isn't fundamentally the man that is strongest physically, but the man that is strongest mentally. And the man that is fully aware of the fact that when you think you can't go further, you're only 40% in, you keep pushing.
Becoming successful isn't a dance in the park. If it was that easy, there would be many successful people. But that's not the case. You must be willing to go the extra mile. To understand fully, that when you think it's over for you, you're only 40% used up. Draw energy from your within and keep pushing forward, and success will be yours in the end.
