Some of my predictions

Talking about the future is interesting. It's something so unknown yet can be predictable. People love to predict stuff and they try to make justification either academically or based on their personal convictions. In this post, I try to make some predictions based on my convictions and looking through the current dynamic from politic, science & technology, economy and social dynamic.
Politically
- Gen X and Millennial are starting to take the seat in the political world replacing boomer generation. As we know of today, they are progressive and have managed to push progressive agendas. There are pros and cons to this, it depends on your political beliefs and stances. Some good, some aren't (subjective).
- Depending who gets elected today but we could expect to see a war or two unless the elected one is anti-interventionist.
- It also depends where you live, some country could stay theocratic some started embracing modernity and stopped living in stone age with archaic laws.
- Conservative values and voices will be pushed back from mainstream social media outlets.
- People still don't think there's other options than "left and right" dichotomy.
Science and Technology
- Space travel becomes much more advanced and starting to become more possible to be commercialized.
- Eco-friendly vehicle becomes much more common and cheaper.
- More AI being developed and find its way to replace some office jobs and anything geared toward mass consumption.
- Cheap gadgets will be produced more and more people will have access to internet.
- Majority of industries and government places will use facial recognition and AI technology.
- Cybercrime is on the rise as people become cashless and paperless.
- Transhumanism is starting to become popular and accepted.
Economy
UBI (universal basic income) will start being implemented in some ways.
There will be more regulation on cryptocurrency across the globe.
There's fluid dynamic of wealth as people have more opportunities to find next gold rush (bitcoin, youtube, tiktok, etc).
Investment becomes much more common and accessible for people especially for younger generation.
Taxes are still there, there's no way a country doesn't ask you for yearly subscription.
Cryptocurrency is regulated and people starts embracing it as "options"to digital payment.
Social
People from developing countries are able to travel more as the borders becomes much more open. This is depending on who gets elected today as well.
There will be no monoculture society but global culture and multicultural society.
Problems and tension will persist as cultural differences is something that is unavoidable. However with Gen X, Millennial and gen Z and Gen Alpha, there's slight hope as they have been spoon feed with diversity and multiculturalism values.
Who knows LGBTQ marriage will be more widely accepted even in muslim countries as intersectionality is on the rise?
