Venezuela GDP
I thought I might see Venezuela within the top 10. What I found seems more telling.

What better statistic to illustrate the immediacy of a nation in crisis than
no statistic at all. Because this is what I found. Venezuela was the only nation on the list that did not have an (actual) value for BOTH 2017 and a (projected) value for 2023.
Finding a Place to Start
Rankings do not always tell the whole story.
Nevertheless, rankings and statistics often warrant our consideration. Someone put time behind their collection. If the subject matter involves real people we should pay attention.

Crypto has already permeated the Venezuelan economy. In relative terms, it would not take much for independent citizens to contribute to a global blockchain that reports at least somewhat accurate economic data. More than this, any honest crypto venture will likely provide relevant data. This could be life altering if it's in anyway
connected to individual lives.
