When designing new drugs, it is necessary to work with molecules made up of thousands of atoms and simulate combinations of these atoms and reactions with other molecules to find the most effective ones, according to experts, large computers based on classical computing begin to have problems with molecules made up of more than 24 atoms, which is insufficient.
A la hora de diseñar nuevos medicamentos es preciso trabajar con moléculas compuestas por miles de átomos y simular combinaciones de estos átomos y reacciones con otras moléculas para encontrar las mas eficaces, según los expertos las grandes computadoras basadas en computación clásica empiezan a tener problemas a partir de moléculas formadas por más de 24 átomos lo que resulta insuficiente.
The superposition and entanglement properties of the qubit are ideal for these operations as they allow to carry out lots of calculations and combinations simultaneously and in a time infinitely less than the bits since these can only have one value in each operation, which increases the calculation time.

As an analogy, let's imagine that we have 1 byte that simulates a molecule of 8 atoms (1 byte = 8 bits) and we want to see which combination of atoms fits better with another molecule, since we have 256 possible combinations of the byte molecule, we will have to assign values to that molecule and do 256 calculations, one for each combination.

If we now take 1 qubyte (8 qubits) to perform the same task we will find that, through superposition and entanglement, we will only have to do a calculation, since the qubyte already has 256 different values simultaneously (this is so, I promise you that I have not smoked anything).
