Hello Everyone, This Is My First Post On MusicIsLife <3

Hiya Everyone!

I am excited to write my very first post here on MusicForLife.
<3Some of you might know me already, some might not.
To those that don't, let me give you a little introducion.I am Denise, my musical artist name is D-Vine.

To right away clear any misunderstandings, I didn't choose the name because I am full of myself thinking I am divine.
I was inspired by an artist called Divine.
Fascinated by the fact that although creating controversy & receiving a lot of hate, he stood up for what he believed in & identified with.
So when I entered a man's world in the mid nineties & became one of the first "female" D&B Dj's in Germany, I thought it was fitting. <3

I began djing oldschool breakbeats / drum&bass in 1996, in 1998 my first event was called "Planet DrumNBass" at the Carambolage in Karlsruhe, Germany, alongside DJ Destiny.
My first release „Life Witchu“, a song I dedicated to my son, on the ENTER @ YOUR OWN RISK Compilation came out in 2000 on the label Risk Industrees.

As the only female & only female DJ in Karlsruhe on the Risk Industrees crew, I was in constant high demand for decades.
I moved to Okinawa, Japan, 2008 where I became resident Dj to the Raw Fusion in the oldest electronic Club Hinotama Hall on the island.
So naturally my focus was more on djing than producing, until about 2015.

I am a very dedicated person, if I have a passion, I dive deep into it.
That is why I signed up for college in 2017, shortly after being diagnosed with cancer for the first time, to study audio engineering.
Due to the stupid cancer coming back last year, I was interrupted for a year, but I only need 2 more classes to finish my diploma, academic work & music business.

Yesterday, was my first day back in college.

Today a package arrived from my school, I need 2 more courses to finish my diploma, scientifical working & music business.
When I was on the phone with them a few weeks ago I mentioned that I saw that they had 2 new courses, mastering V2 & sound design. I expressed my interest that I probably will come back to those as well.
Well, I think my school loves me, they enrolled me for free & gave me those 2 courses on top!
That’s over 1000€, I am ecstatic 🎶💃🏻🙌

Now for some music, here are my 3 last releases.

The first one is a lovesong from me to @jeffleinwand.
I wrote the instrumental & @junkfeathers added his wonderful lyrics/ vocals/ guitar.

The third track is a remix of a song called "Nostalgia" feat TygerTyger @tygertyger. The original was produced by a young talented artist I met on the blockchain, his name is Segovia @elbrujo.

When I heard the original "Nostalgia" by Segovia feat. TygerTyger by two of my favorite artist, I felt this urge to add my flavor to it, I was in luck & got the green light.

The track was never properly released & given the momentary situation Segovia is in, I decided to give it a new polish & here it is.

He lives in Venezuela, on top of having to deal with what is going on over there, his ability to make music has been taken, his Laptop died.
To help Segovia be able to make music again all the proceeds from BandCamp will go to him. <3
