How many times have you found love, and couldn't hold it down because of where you come from, what your parents think, what society accepts?
A lot of times I guess
Or how many times have seen movies where such events take place.
A couple more times right?
In most cases, marriages done against the parent's wishes always turns out to be living hell for the partners.
And other times, they grow into blissful unions, and the families had no choice but to accept them.
No one can rewrite the star, you cannot say you and that person we're meant to be, no matter how strongly you feel about them.
Or maybe you can! Who knows.
At times, we wonder, why did we ever fall in love, if we were not meant to be? Fate, destiny never said, the person you love is the one you get to spend the rest of your life with.
At some point, life happens. And when life does that it takes away the one thing we cherish the most.
Do you often wonder, why cult groups or secret societies usually ask for the blood of a loved one?
It should tell you that even life always wants us to make sacrifices for the greater good. And such sacrifices most times means giving up the people we love.
Society could be right, your parents could be right, but at the same time, your heart could be right too.
How do you then know whose guardian to follow? Your parents? society? or your heart?
Don't ask me, because I have no idea as much as you don't.
The only thing I know is that if you end up with the wrong person, life has a way of turning the tables around. Once he does this, he takes them away, with or without your approval.
The next time someone you love chooses someone or something else over how you feel....that is the signs
The next time, they kill a part of your spirit that keeps you alive...that is the signs
The next time, you try to brainwash you to forget who you are.....that is the signs

In the most subtle manner, life speaks to us. But we are often too busy to listen. Or blinded by how we feel about a person to listen.
What you need is a rebranding, a rebranding with your voice, and personality alongside. What you do not need is a rebranding without your voice and personality.
So anytime, they try to rebrand you without the unique things that make you different....run
A man only has one destiny, and even though, he may stray from it at the beginning, time, and fortune will surely bring him back.
