Hey guys! :)
What are you up to?
Today I wanna introduce the third music genre we are producing under the name "Binaural Concept".
// Please excuse my mistakes and that it might sound a bit complicated or not correct in english. My native language is german and explaining something as complex as this in a different language is not easy. ;) //
To understand why we started producing meditation and relaxation music, I have to tell some background infos.
I suffer from ADHD, and when I was studying, I was looking for ways to help me concentrate better.
I searched for special concentration music and thought: Why not produce our own music which is exactly the way that helps me concentrate while learning?
So I started reading alot about how the music needs to be to help the brain focus and concentrate. This brought me to a very interesting method: Binaural Beats. Some of you might have heard of this already, for those who haven`t:
To say it with the words of Wikipedia: "A Binaural Beat is an interference pattern between two sounds of slightly different frequencies, perceived as a periodic variation in volume whose rate is the difference of the two frequencies."
The actual purpose of binaural beats are to influence and "manipulate" the frequencies of your brain waves. The brain oscillates in a certain frequency, depending on what you are doing at the very moment. I`m sure you already heard of ALPHA, BETA, GAMMA, DELTA and THETA waves.
The more relaxed you are, the lower the frequency of your brain waves will be. For example if you sleep the frequency (DELTA) would be somewhere between 0,5 and 4 Hz; if you are very active the frequency (GAMMA) can be above 30Hz.
As I already said, Binaural Beats are used to influence these brain waves to bring them to a certain level you need for specific actions. They can be used to help the brain to relax or fall asleep, if you manage to lower the frequency.
The tough thing: The human ear has a hearing threshold in the lower frequencies of about 20Hz. It cannot hear frequencies which are below this threshold. So Binaural Beats are used to "trick" the brain to be able to "hear" these lower frequencies.
An example:
If you produce 2 frequencies at the same time, lets say 100Hz and 110Hz. You pan one frequency all the way to the left, and the other all the way to the right and then listen with headphones - because it is important that the 2 frequencies will hit your ears at the exact same time - you will hear some kind of a "wobble" sound, this wobble sound is the difference between the 2 chosen frequencies, in our example 10Hz. So that`s a way to delude the brain that it hears a frequency below the hearing threshold.
If you constantly listen to this frequency, your brain waves will try to synchronize with the frequency it hears, and that will help you to come to a more relaxed state or maybe even fall asleep.
I loved the idea of these Binaural Beats, so I started listening to Binaural Beats music and found out: It really helped me to be able to relax - and this is a tough thing with having ADHD.
So I started producing Binaural Beats music in 2016 - and we are still producing it until now, for different purposes.
Today I want to show you our music for helping you learn and study - to be able to focus and be relaxed at the same time.
I hope you like it - and I am always happy for feedback! :)

Btw, I hope this article was not too full of mistakes and you were able to understand it. :)
Thanks alot for reading!
