I just finished a 12.343km running that lasted about 1hh:12mm:10ss !

It is London Marathon day, but I am not pounding the city streets. Maybe one day. Instead I was out around Arlesey. I was talking to my friend Graeme at parkrun yesterday and he suggested a hill a that was a good workout. I headed towards Stotfold, but turned off to go through a farm where some companies have offices. The main gates were shut, but I could get around those. Once through the farm it is out across the fields. I was not sure where I would cross the stream and tried going left, but realised that would not get me where I wanted to go and so turned back to go the other way. I found the bridge and headed towards the local solar farm.
There is a track up there heading for a lone wind turbine and it is quite a climb. I was struggling a bit near the top, but I made it up there. I decided to head into Langford, but that means running along the road. It can get fairly busy, but the cars gave me room, even when they had to wait a bit to pass. That was mostly downhill. I should have taken some photos as there are good views from up there. There is a little bridge over the railway where a Tesla had to stop as there was not room to pass me. Then it was into the village to pick up the track past the lakes.
That track does suffer from flooding, but was okay today. I saw a couple of white egrets around the lakes and other waterfowl. There were a few people walking and running around there. One guy was geared up for photography with his tripod.
My legs were a bit tired after a second day of running, but not too bad. Some of the last part of the run was on the park course. I may get very used to that. Then it was over the station footbridge to go back through Arlesey. I did not add any extra diversions as I had gone far enough.
I am not sure what is happening with my apps as this run is not showing in Strava, but @exhaust still picked it up.
A guy with a nice looking camera took loads of pictures at parkrun yesterday, so I will include one of those.
Run free and stay well.
