Culture is a way of life. It differs as every region or group of people might have a way they relate. It is unique and has what binds them. But one thing for a fact is the myths, stereotypes and other spiritualism are similar. I won't say Hive as a culture won't fit in Ghana, but I would rather say it will merge well as if it was born as a culture. Below are my reasons.
In culture, harmony, and unity is what we preach. Everyone has a voice that will promote the culture. The Ghanaian culture is all about the love for strangers and the behavior of wanting everyone to hear the good name of the culture. Hive is the same. We have us who market it. Tell the world the good words. It gives everyone one voice, the same as in the Ghanaian community. This is the first reason I said it will fit.
Another is looking at the clothes we wear. Every culture has what defines them. Defines them in the sense that, anytime they get out, they know where they are coming from. In my culture, we wear smocks. Smocks from great fabrics. In hive, we have a logo that is been known. Our T-Shirts are what we use to send out information. So having hive as a culture here in Ghanaian, will unique clothing and that we will know, “These are the hivers”
Moving forward, documentation of the history is another thing. As kids growing up, they gave us our history as stories. They sat us down and gave us what we needed to know as kids about our culture. Hive is built and made up of writings. Each piece on the blockchain holds the history of the blockchain. I will even say it will have a greater upper hand as a culture in Ghana to document its history.
I can keep writing but we all know hive is already a culture even though we have never thought about it. Hive has given everyone the chance to live but there are things we call norms and taboos. In Ghana, each culture has that, which they use to mold their people. Hive has that like we not accepting plagiarism and others. So Hive is already a culture. Let’s give it time in Ghana; many people will join us to live and grow the cultural life of hive.
Thanks for this prompt as always.
