Greetings all and sundry on this noble platform, I am very delighted to write and share with you guys my view and entry to this great contest. Today I would be pointing out my view on relating hive blockchain to the Ghanaian culture or culture in general. Before I commence I would like to thank all the leaders for such a great opportunity for bringing to us contests every week to participate in and engage in. It is with great interest that I participate in this contest and I hope you guys would stay tuned and watch out for my entry.
Culture as we all know is the way of life which includes the the food we eat, the clothes we wear, customs, beliefs, religion, traditions, social standards, and many more. Ghana has so many cultural values and among them include hospitality, respect, justice, religion, freedom, and sanctity of life. If hive was a Ghanaian culture I would have said called it Freedom and Justice. Freedom and Justice is the motor of the Ghana Coat of Arms and I would love to give that name to Hive Blockchain if it was to be a Ghanaian culture. Not only that, I would have added hospitality to it as well.
Hive as a decentralized platform allows everyone to express their opinions and feelings without the control of anyone and such would it be fit to be called freedom. The hive platform grants every equal access to all features on the platform without any limitations provided you do not go against the rules of a community which can lead you to get muted. Tagging hive blockchain freedom indicates how much the platform is decentralized. It is a platform that accepts the decision and views of the people and works towards that to make the people of the platform enjoy the most.
Hive as web3 blockchain is a user-friendly platform that brings everyone together as one. You can engage in each other's posts through comment, upvote, reblog, etc.
Secondly, I would tag Hive blockchain as justice because it pays for the hard work that we do here on the platform. Hive serves as a place to earn through the writing of articles and also curating content as well. It is clear and obvious to us that, hive blockchain is very transparent and they support everyone that puts up the effort here on the platform. I would name hive justice because they do not discriminate in curating content on the blockchain platform but instead, they try as much as possible to distribute upvotes so that at least everyone can have a share of it.
Hospitality is a sense that, the hive platform supports projects that aim towards helping the poor and needy in our various communities and societies. One of them is the hive borehole project that is being run by our leaders here in Ghana, and it is sponsored by hive blockchain. Also, another great project is that of the Student Hub which supports less privileged schools in various communities in Ghana here. I have been a witness to one of them as we recently distributed some of the books to St. Joseph JHS Adabayeri school.
In a nutshell, I would have called Hive Hospitality, Freedom, and Justice, if it was a Ghanaian culture. There are a lot of cultures that Hive can fit into but I would prefer the above-mentioned points and I hope that my points would be taken into consideration. I would like to acknowledge the hard work of the leaders here and also the MODs that keep the platform running smoothly by organizing these weekly contests. Kudus to you all.
