Balancing my loyalty and responsibility.

I know many of us have faced a situation in our life where someone told us their secret and expected us to not reveal in front of any other. Well, this is a normal thing where one can stand firm to their secret and keeps it to himself. But what if the situation is a bit challenging, where you find yourself in between the loyalty and responsibility...

What if a loved one confides in you but the secret can damage someone you cared for

Finding myself in a situation where a loved one comes to me and share a secret. This all is so simple until i find out that the secret can cause harm to some other person whom i also care about. In this situation i will first think about the priorities and honesty. I can't let anyone get damaged because of me even if that person was a stranger.

Even if it isn't about saving the life still i can't let anyone hurt so i will reach out to the person who told me the secret and will have a hourly session with them because i have to balance my loyalties and responsibilities both.

If i reach out to the person and reveal the secret, this will arise questions on my loyalty and if i don't inform the other person on time this will also be a negative point towards my responsibilities. The perfect solution to my decision will be that i reach out to the first person and i will convince them on telling that thing to the third person on time so that they can make the possible steps needed in order to make their safety sure

I know this might not be a good solution in the view of many of you people but it is what it is what i found to be most suitable in this situation. I am a really kind person (don't want to compliment my own self but this is true), i don't want anyone to get hurt just because of a silly secret. I will also be careful towards my personality and how i will manage it, i think i have already told you.
