Indeed you just have to be grateful no matter how life is treating you, good or bad you learn from it.
There are days when nothing makes sense, when things just keep going wrong even though you're trying your best. I’ve been there actually, I’m still there in many ways. The disappointments, the unanswered prayers, the daily hustle that brings little or no result. It’s easy to complain. And yes, I’ve done a lot of complaining and am still complaining.
But recently, I had to pause and think. While I was keep looking at all the things going wrong, I realized I was forgetting the small good things happening to me. Things I didn’t even thank God for. Things I didn’t count as blessings because they didn’t look big.
So today, I want to share a little shift in my mindset.
First, I’m grateful for life. I woke up today, and I’m breathing. That alone is a gift. Some people went to bed last night and didn’t wake up. Life may not be where I want it to be, but I still have a chance to try again.
I’m also grateful for the Hive platform. I don’t take this space for granted. Being able to express myself, to write, to share even with strangers is something I truly appreciate. This post, for example, is more than just words for me. It’s a release. A healing. And maybe someone out there reading it will feel a little ease alone.
Then, there’s my journey in digital marketing. I’m still learning, still figuring it out. I’m not yet where I want to be, and I struggle a lot. Sometimes I feel lost, like I’m not doing enough or moving fast. But the fact that I even have the chance to learn, to try, to grow that’s a win for me.
Yes, I’ve been through difficult times. Lack of money, constant stress, working hard with almost nothing to show. Days where I felt like giving up. Nights where I cried and nobody knew. But still, I’m here. Still trying. Still hopeful.
Gratitude doesn’t mean my life is perfect. It just means I choose to see the light, even when everything feels dark.
To anyone reading this if life feels unfair right now, you’re not alone. It’s okay to feel tired. But please don’t forget the little things. The breath of life. The people who care. The small wins that often go unnoticed.
We may not have everything we want, but we still have something. And that’s a good place to start.
