Greetings everyone! I'm thrilled to introduce myself. My name is Azong Stanley, but I'm known as brastylo86 in the Hive community. I'm a proud Ghanaian, currently 24 years old, and I'll be turning 25 on June 5, 2025. I was born and raised in Teshie, a small town in Accra, where I developed a love for simple living surrounded by family, friends, and relatives. I'm a third-year undergraduate student at C.K.T. UTAS (formerly UDS) in Navrongo, pursuing a degree in Computer Science.
After completing senior high school in 2019, I attended Vision Professional College in Techiman, where I honed my skills in graphic design, specifically in Photoshop and Microsoft Word, through a six-month course. Following graduation, I worked for two years to save money for further education. I then decided to pursue a degree in Computer Science, driven by my passion for technology and curiosity to learn more. Since I was young, I have been empathetic and caring towards others, feeling distressed when I see people in pain. This motivation, combined with my interest in technology, led me to choose Computer Science as my field of study.
I'm a fan of music, reading, and designing, and I like to spend my free time watching movies and playing games. However, my true interest lies in technology, and I often find myself watching documentaries or films related to tech, as I'm passionate about learning more and staying up-to-date with the latest developments.
To be honest, I'm proficient in four languages: Twi, Ga, English, and French. Reading educational books has significantly improved my English language skills. I'm excited to share my life journey on Hive, as I'm eager to meet new people, make friends, and connect with like-minded individuals. I'm looking forward to sharing my views and knowledge, particularly in the areas of technology and design.
I discovered Hive on July 2, 2024, when a friend posted about an ongoing program educating people about the platform. I attended the program, learned more about Hive, and was encouraged to join. I even received a Hive T-shirt, which I proudly wear to spread awareness about the community. I'd like to extend my gratitude to @Josiah and @Stanley for taking the time to assist me with my first post on Hive.
I'm thrilled to be a part of this community and look forward to getting to know more people, sharing my experiences, and learning from others. Thank you all, and have a great day!"
