Most people reach the world of blockchain primarlily to acquire crypto for their wallets, maybe a few quick rewards, and then to spend or cash out. They see it as a new type of money, a way to get paid quickly or take a chance. This group of people sees crypto as a prize to grab-and-go with. The other group, smaller, is people who truly want to learn about blockchain, who want to engage with it deeply, and grow with it. On Hive, you can very clearly see these two types of people.
The first type enters with excitement, eager to earn tokens, they write a few posts, earn some crypto, and enjoy that feeling of digital rewards. They run out of crypto, and they move on, or stop engaging once their rewards slow, and then they just see it as a tool, not a community, not a place to grow. They are only interested in profit, not purpose.
Then, there’s the second type the ones that become the blockchain. They don’t simply see anything like Hive as a way to earn crypto, they see Hive as an opportunity to create, showcase their own voice and build connections with people. They don’t chase after rewards or quick wins, they build out a digital life. I know this group very well because I am a part of this group.

Since I found Hive, I have always conveyed the value of being a part of it to many people. Mostly through online conversations or chats and having met one-on-one in virtual meetings and conferences, I conveyed the way Hive has changed my life not just with the money either, but in my personel life. Hive gave me a stage to learn lots of different skills, showcase my own story, and build connections with people that I have only dreamed about.
In fact, I have basically shared everything about my life on Hive my struggles, my journey, my progression. Hive is not a platform for me. It is now my second home and a great place where i have shared my life story. For this reason, I did not stop at merely "owning it." I became it.
Through daily engagement with it, I did not only receive tokens, I received drive.
I developed motivation to learn more, to experiment in other fields. I am now studying stock markets and forex trading. The drive or hunger for learning comes from my time within Hive. Being wrapped up in the world of Hive truly opened my eyes to learning about new possibilities.

That said, it is clear that many people still regard blockchain as merely adopting a new tool to generate more money. And, while obviously making money is one thing, the transformative super-power behind Hive happens when you immerse yourself into it. By doing so, it will change the way you think, create, and connect with people. That is where you will transform.
Hive is not merely a place for crypto currency rewards. Hive is the place you have to experienced to discover yourself, to create some value progressively over time, and add to the value as you connect with others globally. When you give yourself fully to learning and enagging with it you let yourself be involved in something much more meaningful. So, simply lurking around and looking forward to earning rewards isn't the real deal but getting involved fully. That is where the real journey begins.
