Those who are familiar with the contents I create know that I regularly speak about my time in social media and content creation and my experience in the blockchain space. And more often than not, in that conversation comes one name: Hive.
So who seriously gives me the voice and inspire me to create contents? Again, Hive. For me personally. Hive is not just a platform - Hive is an game changer.
Over the last five years the way I have engaged with Hive has given me opportunities, people and purpose. But more than that, it has helped me be part of something that transcends our digital life into the real life: it has enabled real change. Another incredible part of that journey, has been the Hive borehole projects.
They are more than physical structure giving people access to clean water. They are proof of concept that Hive is so much more than just a blockchain for content creation and transactions, but a way to solve real societal issues. If nothing else, today I can honestly say that these projects are one of the main reasons that has inspired me to show up on Hive and to me the time spent here has been worthwhile.
They remind me that when we collaborate, stay consistent in our daily efforts and believe in a good cause, it can lead to outcomes that can impact generations. The Hive borehole projects stand out as one of the most significant initiatives to come out of Hive. In areas where people formerly struggled every day to access clean water, there is now a system that provides essential resource and gives life.
These boreholes will always hold up as a reminder—evidence we can show to help defend the Hive Blockchain's potential to have real-world impact and bring about a meaningful change. These are not built to just exist today; they are built for the future. They are a place we can always revisit, not just physically, but in reference to those places as reminders of the changes Hive made possible.
@mcsamm and I are always inspired when we hear the testimonies about the boreholes, the knd words of those who share joyously in these wins and those that support the project. This is one of the reasons we want to see the impact extended. We have been hearing rumours recently about the possibility of the project been discontinued or paused.
Someone even reached out to @mcsamm to get confirmation. To date, we have received no indication of anything like that. On the contrary, we are steadfast and proud of what has been achieved and the possibility of sharing the impact beyond Ghana, and show the world what happens when purpose and technology meet. Whatever the future holds, we can always look back at these projects and feel proud that Hive have allowed us to be a part of something with such substance.
And, we aren’t stopping here. We have so much more in the pipeline, and we believe the best is yet to come. The true essence and ripple impact of these projects may not be totally apparent today. But they are coming slowly, steadily, and surely. That’s what makes the future exciting. And that’s what keeps up going. Thank you to all who has supported us, shared our story, or in any way contributed. Before the year ends, it's our hope to reach more communities and make impacts.
