Sometimes in life you can be easily frustrated. There are so many rainy days, heartbreaks, friends coming and going, people making you angry, but when you pause and look around, you will be grateful for a lot of things in your life that you could never imagine.
Today I want to share just the things that always make me gratefull and remind me of how beautiful life can be. I am grateful for life, sometimes I sit close to my window and think about life, how it is a miracle that I wake up every day, where others couldn't wake up.
I always appreciate life even though things aren't going well with me, but I want to thank God for keeping me alive. These are really made my day. I wake up every morning and thank God for life.
Sometimes I spend most of my time thinking. I think about the privilege of being alive. Even though I'm passing through many challenges, I still see so many reasons to be alive. I even have a journal where I pen down things that I'm grateful for.
I write my thoughts both the good, the bad and, the messy one and the ones that made it make sense of how my life has been going for me. It is like having a conversation with myself and this really helped me to go places I never expected.
When I try to focus on these shifts, this has changed my perspective about the way I see life. Instead of complaining too much of what is wrong, I reminded myself of the joy that have made life so special to me.
Life is a gift, a very precious one that most people are not privileged to enjoy till today. I know life isn't perfect but these small blessings really make it worth celebrating. Why not start by being grateful by the little things that you have been privilege to have. Things might not be going well as planned, but that does not mean that we are not still progress in life.
So what are you grateful for? About life? Is it the stranger? Your favorite song or even the fact that you can have a good night's sleep. Are you grateful that you're not in the hospital or you're not on your sickbed or you are not homeless?
Take a moment to notice what you are grateful for. It's like finding a treasure hidden in a plain truth. I know life might not be easy but I see a lot of things to be grateful for. And you really need to be grateful for the good things of life. So share with me what you are grateful for in your life.
