Have you ever sat through a class and thought,
Why am I learning this?
Will I ever use this?
Where does this apply to the real world?
From your high school to university, you will be bombarded with a lot of courses that may not be useful to you in real life. Maybe Maths, History, Science, Literature, Physics and all the rest. But I really have to say that all these subjects are really necessary. I believe that most of the courses and subjects we study really have a purpose. They didn't just create it out of nowhere. So even if it's not immediately obvious, or it might not apply to you, it might also apply to others.
School isn't just about telling you how to cram facts and pass exams. It’s about the discipline, and the way you think. And we learned that also. Maths, for example, teaches Logic, and Problem Solving. Even if you have no opportunity to apply to a conducting equation at work, this thing also helps us to understand how the world was formed. And things that have happened over time how the world has turned out to be. And Literature also builds empathy by letting us walk in other shoes.
All these subjects create a well-grounded knowledge for humans who can think critically and that too, changes the lives of others. And I agree that sometimes, or I would agree that some courses are also useful and difficult. We are not close to our needs, but in the world of seagulls, is it only ourselves, or those photophobic electricity companies or universities?
I agree these courses are always made optional for instance sometimes focusing on the creativity and those loops and all I want to suggest is that in high school instead of forcing everyone to into learning courses that will not be needful why not offer practical life skills that might be applied to the real life like learning how to budget make balances basic coding skills, digital skills, web designing skills, this could be blended into math, also even in economy itself modifying it and giving students the right tools they actually need for the real world application.
Education is the ability to spark that curiosity and discipline in every student even when teaching the boring subjects. It builds discipline. When we are in a tough chemistry class or physics class it teaches us how to be patient in what we do and build our life with resilience courage and discipline but also subject our school should also evolve with time.
We should keep the core subjects our bodies our minds or measurements that feels relevant for more practical and inspiring students so let's just imagine that balance is both critical taking and reward experience and application now that's education world sharing for not the ones that only applies the classroom and not in real world
So let us try our best in the education sector to improve education.
